How is my set up?

Okay so I've decided to try my hand cultivating cannabis. I currently grow mushrooms as a hobby, and it's really fun to do, but I think caring for a plant would be a bit more satisfying as with mushrooms it's kinda like set it and forget it. I want a hobby that's a little more hands on and technical.

For my growing space I'll be using a 5 foot x 3 foot x 8 foot closet with a sliding door that can open up to 3 feet in my bedroom, as it's out of the way and has large sliding glass window in it.

I'll be growing 2 cream of the crop amphetamine feminized seeds in a rock wool starter plug which will be transferred into a 6" net basket in a 5 gallon bucket. The plug will be put in hydrotron pellets and the system I'll be keeping it hydrated with is a drip ring system. I was thinking that running a 70 GPH pump from the bucket to the drip ring for 15 minutes every 4 hours would keep the plant hydrated, oxygenated and provide it with enough nutrients.

For lighting I'll be using two different set ups. During the vegetation stage I'll be using a 240w blue/white LED panel and a 60w blue/white/uv LED panel. When the plants undergo flowering I was going to switch those to a 150w red LED panel and a 300w 6-band/ir/uv LED panel. I was going to run them all on a 18/6 light schedule.

My room gets very hot during the day and night (upwards of 34*C on average), so I'll be using a stand up fan to blow cool air over the plants. Also I'll be using an aquarium chiller that will run through both 5 gallon tanks.

I have a hydrometer and thermostat to monitor the temperature and %RH of the closet. I also have an IR thermometer to get spot readings.

For nutrients I'll be using AN ph perfect micro/grow/bloom nutrients. I also have a pH meter with buffering solution and pH up/down to change the pH to the optimal level. I have a TDS meter with calibration solution as well to measure the TDS of the bucket.

Have you already bought everything? If not, buy an air cooled HPS light for flower and fluorescent light for veg. Then with the money you save buy and A/C unit to keep the room cool.

I already have the 300w LED panel and the 60w one. I kind of wanted to keep the lights I use all of the same type. As well as the LEDs don't heat up the closet up very much, only about 2*C with a 12" fan blowing into the closet. And I can get a really good deal on the 240w and 150w LED right now so I wouldn't be set back very much from buying them, and an a/c HPS light + A/C for the room would probably end up costing more.


I was thinking of getting AN B52 and a rot protecting liquid. B52 and a root growth/protecting formula seem to be mentioned a lot in many forums as two things people use in conjunction with grow/bloom/micro solutions. Are they worth buying? Also what root rot protecting liquid is worth buying? I was thinking aqua shield but apparently it's not made any more.

Also does a nutrient/hormone solution to soak seeded rock wool starter plugs in help at all? From what I've read half is no it doesn't hep the other half is yes it helps but isn't a necessity.
