i took this clone about two weeks ago. it has roots. i potted it in a mini dwc 1l container just to see if i could get anything out of it as a fun little test. the clone itself apears almost black where there was hairs growing. i took the clone while it was flowering.

YES! At least for two weeks. The clones are trying to revert to veg cycle and you're trying to force them to flower. Let them veg some before flipping the lights buddy.

You can clone and grow in 12/12 of course you get a smaller plant though...really the flowering clone having to reveg is going to take a long time, and during that time it needs at least 18/6 of light...and I can tell you that while I like the way a clone taken in flower grows, I do not like the huge amount of time it takes to revert and start growing again...it is heinous when compared to the growth rate of a clone taken in veg...then again when it does start growing it grows loads of branches so...I don't know...I find myself taking clones at both times...one to hurry up and get another plant going (veg clone) and then one that I can LST and top and bend and pinch and pull into a monster...I have to stagger the big plants and the little...the little hold me over for the big...and the big ones need so much I am free to ignore the little ones and not love them to death...anyway doesn't matter. just check your ph and ppm for her and she should grow out a small bush in no time...warning the first few leaves look like basil or something...monoplois leaves...so one finger to a leaf and it won't have serrated edges...so they don't even look like MJ for a couple weeks...it is once they start getting 3 serrated leaves again that you know you are getting ready to see something amazing...I swear I can see visible growth within hours sometimes...it's like you wait and wait and wait and nothing happens, or something small and super slow...and then all of a sudden bam new branch...bam bam bam new tops bing bing bing bing leaves leaves leaves...ya know clones taken during flower might be uglier at first but damn they grow interestingly...I have a plant finishing flower right now that was a clone taken during flower that had been flowered to 5 weeks, and then had to be revegged, and now is finally flowering...it has one branch that has like a circle of small colas...like off shoots this branch out of nowhere with no leaves on it, and then halfway up it is split into 6 or 7 small almost equally sized colas and they have grown into a weird circle shape....it is the shape that is impressive not so much the size of them...perhaps all together they are equal to one of the 3 main colas---and they aren't terribly impressive...but hey give thie girl a hand she has been through a LOT!!! would post pics of circle but my light is on and it makes the pictures look all crazy...I will try to get a picture of the crop circle.....anyway in summation of this really really stoned ramble I like taking clones in flower...they grow super weird in interesting ways...and I am hoping one day to build a topiary unicorn with one...

okay so i am just going to leave this clone in 12/12 thinking that there is abnout a two week period for the plant to adjust which i believe will either give it time to grow or it will just be one small bud on a stem. i took two other clones i am going to test in a couple weeks what the difference is when you take a clone from flower and put it into flower and veg. thanks for the words fo wisdom as always guys. roll up anothe one
