IMO, pH wouldn't have much to do with your friends shitty pot . . . that'd be mostly genetics and possibly the cure being used, or not used.

Ph is pretty important, especially in hydroponics. This could be one of the numerous things that he did wrong.
I say its at the bottom of the list. look at typical house plants. Who pH's the water of them?

And ain't pot 'just a weed' I keep hearing "they don't call it weed for no reason"

I find it funny how delicate this hardy weed is precieved.

we don't force feed our house plants nutrients that force them to do what we expect this weed to do

Potential hydrogen will dictate what nutes your plants takes in. If your plant is sitting in a tub full of nitrogen, and the ph is not right. The plant will suffer from nitrogen deficiency.

Tap water around me is at 9.5 in a city of over 100,000 dont always trust tap water.

Ph Is HELLA IMportant if you grown in rocksoilcube if you do it in basic soil or stuff like that just be sure to have around average water.

You should flush them about 2 weeks before harvest. Let the water sit out for at least 24 hours before you use it to flush them. My tapwater PH is fine but I would check yours if I were you.

If you mess with the drip into a sample kit you are wasting your time.. spend the 70dollars on a ph pen or 120dollars for the combo pen. My PH is at 5.8 down to 5.6 at flush. Remember 5.0 is 10x more acidic than 6.0

20 years ago people didn't even know what PH was. All bullshit when growing in soil.

No, its a flower....
And people dont harvest house plants.
I have planted over 30 varieties of flowers BY SEED this year and every year. There are Bouquets all around my house and an additional 10-15 varieties of fruits and veggies and herbs that My family harvests and eats on a daily basis. Marijuana is in the top 5 easiest plants I grow. PH has never been taken....it doesn't matter unless it is extreme, then you do something to fix it at the source.
