How far along until i can smoke it

why the HELL hasnt anyone said to put it out in the woods for a few weeks?

and for the record microwaving your bud is the stupidest thing ive ever heard. ive heard of defrosting it for a few seconds at a time but dont microwave it! the best thing ive done to quick dry some bud is put it in a cigar box over night. smokeable by morning

The bud thats on my plant at the moment isnt even that wet tbh.. its bright, sticky and smells.

You're damn right it doesn't.

But you don't know the situation the guy is in, do you?

He asked for a quick way to dry his bud that probably isn't ready to be harvested in the first place.

Offer him some advice addressing his question instead busting peoples balls who do and you don't agree with it.

Lets here your advice for a quick emergency dry method.

Oven on a low temp maybe? Surely you have something to add that might help this guy out.

wow...dont microwave bud..thats stupid..dry it correctly..chop it..make cool stuff with the trim and stems..and smoke what you have on it in like 2 weeks..store it cool and in a dark place..and dont trim off the white hairs! just leave it after you do a normal trim.

Right here is probably the best suggestion so far.

Kaleo is the man..lol..outside would be smart..find a nice sunny spot in the woods..

Good thing about a thread like this is I'm learning of better ways to try and quick dry bud when I need to.

So the general concensus on using the microwave is.... it's a terrible way to do it.

Totally understandable, and hell I agree. But if you MUST have a bowl or two of something to catch a buzz on, like NOW, it's the fastest way I have found.

Sorry that pisses most of you off.

cooking it in the microwave rapes the THC in your bud. and it heats at high temps from the inside out, so i cant imagine this being a good technique for quick drying bud

That's probably why the buzz is pretty pathetic and doesn't last very long.

brown paper bag dries it quick, but leaves a shitty "clasic homegrown" flavor. i mean a cigar box leaves a flavor too, but i enjoy the taste of cedar and expensive cigars, not more than i enjoy the taste of bud, but more than id enjoy microwaving it

and that is exactly why your buzz sucked. who told you to microwave the buds?

If its yours and its percy, id chop the bud up into smaller pieces lay it in a dark place with some newspaper.

No one told me to microwave my buds.

When I'm out and I have plants growing I do my best to let em finish. Better yields and smoke if you let them run full course.

But every once in a blue moon a good flick comes on HBO that I want a buzz to watch, I break down and go snip a few of the scraggly bottom buds real quick and microwave them.

I'm talking last minute deal here, 20-30 minutes til the movie starts and I need a fast, fast dry.

Thought about using a hair dryer for those super quick drys, but haven't tried it yet.

Of course the real answer to this is just go buy a bag of brick to tide me over until harvest time. But I don't always have that option around here.

Coupled with a few glasses of sippen whiskey, it gets me by that evening.

It's not like I do it on a regular basis folks, that would be silly and counter productive to growing and putting all that time into it.

Dude you just paranoid. Everybody that grows is especially toward the end. who wants to go to jail/prison for growing a weed. if it was me i would put it outside to finish.
