well, all plant have potential if raised right. shwagg comes from improper care, harvest, and curing. just follow the growfaqs and it will all work out.:bigjoint:

ok awesome i just don't want my plants to turn to shit but yeah i try and take the best of care to my plants an come harvest and curing and drying and everything i need done to it it should be some pretty awesome bagseed.. if i get a seed from a bag of shwagg will it be shwagg cuz of the genes of it being shwagg?

a lot of the quality comes from the dna of the seed, but that being said even a seed out of a bad bag can turn out to be decent(probally not flame) if you give the best care you can.

bagseed can turn out really good. its all about the care. but genetics is the way to go if you want the best.

man ive turned brown shwagg into some of the dankest herb ive ever smoked. i messed around and bought some from my guy for 20 an eighth. no smell, no taste, bearly a buzz and it was brown. there were seeds in the bag. i grew 4 and got 2 fems, so i grew them along with my ice. i tended the bagseed just as i did the ice. i gave them all the same love and guess what, it turned out just as good as the ice, actually i liked it more than the ice.
after i grew it, i took it back to the same guy that sold me the shwagg/seed and i sold it back to him for 300 an ounce along with some ice. he couldnt tell the difference between the two and certainly couldnt tell that it came from his shwagg. hell when it was done drying i almost got them mixed up and im the one that grew it so that tells ya something right there. ive actually never bought a strain from the net that was actually better in my eyes than my bag seed genetics. im pretty sure all my bagseed comes from mexico.
but ive grown some seeds that have come from a bag of dirt and sold it as high grade. crazy thing about it is that it actually passed as an high grade herb to me and i know where it came from. im actually running some right now out of that ultimate pro-mix organic mix along with mollasses. the last time was with expert potting soil, senthetic nutes. in my eyes all the online seed sellers are a rip off unless theres a certain taste, high or flowering time that your after but thats just me. on 12/12 from seed its anywhere from 10 to 12 weeks for me to pull a plant.
if all you have is bagseed the only way you'll find out if its good is to grow it out. you really never know what your gonna get. :leaf:

I agree w/ the above. You can take schwagg seed & make it wonderful. I say the genetics determines the ceiling for how good it can be. How well you take care of it determines how close to that cieling you get. So you can take some schwagg brown dirt weed that was grown in a giant field down in mexico outdoors where there was next to no attention given the the stuff on a plant by plant basis, then they mass harvest the stuff when it may not be in it's prime. The stuff gets compressed & bricked up for transport over the border. Again cause they are dealing w/ so much of it no care is taken & it prolly wasn't cured properly so by the time you get your hands on it it's old, brown, moldy, seedy, tastes like hell & gives you a headache. This stuff is totally crap not because it has bad genetics but because it wasn't given any special love or care. The genetics of it are prolly pretty decent. Not top notch or anything like you could get from a seed bank, but not as bad as the quality of the smoke that came out of the same bag. So when someone takes these seeds & gives them the love they need awesome stuff can be harvested. But under the same conditions your superstrain seeds will come out even better.

On the flipside of that coin you could take some super genetics & give it the commercial bricked up seedy mexi-weed treatment & turn those expensive seeds w/ great genetics into a sac of crappy brown weed that smells like sweaty stale gym socks wrapped in butthole.

I made up my own little grading scale I use with friends that I won't go into so I won't bore everyone, but there are things I personally look for to judge the quality of the sweet leaf. I welcome other's to add and correct me because there are many others with more experience than me. Some aspects of quality may be genetics and I'll exclude those from the list but some come from method and care. Seeds: Allowing a male to pollinate your females will reduce potency because the plant will focus it's energy on producing seed. Stemy: Probably the most likely cause is insufficient light, so the plant stretches out to find more. Density: I love tight compact buds. Some people insist you need to flower with a 1000w HPS to get the best buds.
Try not to harvest early, you may get antsy when harvest time looms but cutting down early is in my experience is a huge potency killer.

If you buy some good genetics to begin with and follow the growfaq you will have the best stuff you ever smoked. You will be amazed at the difference, not to mention when someone tells you they have some good shit and the bag is full of seeds you can just laugh.....

yeah then i have enough light cuz it's not stemy it's nice and bushy and i agree compact buds are the best i have shwagg that's why i asked this question and i thought it'd be a good question glad i did and it's also funny that you said you like compact buds cuz it was compact and before when i can't get the good stuff and get shwagg it's not compact and i can't get high but when it's compact i get a lil higher but of course the kind buds are very kind =]]]]] and i'll try not to get antsy i'll wait til the babies ready to chop
oh and nice ass
