how do you start your seed?? (NO HOMO)

i got 6 seed so far. i put all 4 in damped tissue and wrap it up. then wrap it with aluminum foil and throw them in my desk and wait 3 days .. when i open it up they look dark brown like if it's dead. i pop few of them and 2 of them end up like shells and the other 2 just didnt feel right.


so i try again with another one but this time WET it then wrap it with aluminum foil. it been 2 days and i took a peek. DARK BROWN but i didnt break it to see if it's an empty shell.

am i doing something wrong here? i only have one last seed.

I use peat pellets. They go right into the dirt that way there is no risk of damage when putting them into soil from the tissue. The less you touch em the better. I also use a heat mat and a humidity dome to keep em nice and damp. Once rooted(you can see trhe roots comeing through the pellet) I up-can to a 1 qt pot and then to there final home, a 2 gal pot.

well when i had my first seeds i was unsure i found the best way to do it was to put them in a wet paper towel and leave it there for approx 2 weeks then by then you should see a shoot as soon as you see a shoot leae for another 2 weeks then place in the plant pot and let it grow :)
