trimming off most of the waterleaf to expose the stem and branches will encourage more growth as well

look at my journal in my sig for pics of that

I know you couldn't of already consumed 391 pages of info on the thread already. Shit bro here's a quote from uncle ben on page 1

" If you topped above the 4th node, you'll get a BUSHY plant with the last output to occur at the lowest node, if at all. You will not get 2 or 4 main colas."

For some weird reason I thought that was what you were looking for.

Gotta keep reading son, the info is there. It was a very interesting thread and if you actually take the time to read it, all your answers are their. Uncle Ben is one of the best.

I was a fan of topping until I used a SCROG without topping. Double the yield in around 1/3 less veg time IME.
Each time you "top" a plant, it can cause a loss of growth for up to 1 week. Sure, you get a bushier plant but low stress methods prevent that loss of growth.

One thing a newer grower can do to keep their plants bushy is...... PUT THE DAMN SCISSORS DOWN!!!!

Seems like every thread where someone is having problems has taken a pair of scissors and gone wild. Put them down, and let the plant do it's thing.

SSPX8541.jpgI use my hand to top, works fine... But i am really a fan of super cropping after i did a lil experimenting. I had this little kush looking haggard like it was on it s way out, so i spuer cropped it, starting to do amazing. ( even tho i compltley snapped the stem open, i thought it was a gonner) Then when it grew its way back up i did it again and you jus kind keep doing and your plant will be bushhy as hell with so many tops comming up.
