How do you grow outdoors if year round its always 11-12 hours of sunlight?

Alright (:

I'm going to order that Sativa strain and I'll start growing some bag seeds while im waiting for my seeds. I've also PM'ed a couple members on this forum that grow and live on Guam. Hopefully they can give me some more pointers on growing on this island and maybe let me buy some clones, who knows.
Always the best approach but we're here when you need us. I'll be interested in watching your progress!

Not to be negative, but factually, this is so backwards it is silly.
If you read how his light cycle is you Might understand. If I`m wrong I`ll admitt it.But I don`t think I am!By the way,If you find a strain that veges at 12+ and flowers at 11 let me know becauce /i want to grow a couple..

Okay from reading all your guys posts this is the idea of how I should be planting with these lighting hours. Please correct any misinformation I have.

I should start seeds/clones outdoors in march, because if I start any earlier like say in January, then it will be sexually mature by March and start to flower but then have to revert to veg phase because the day length will be increasing, and this revert will cause a stunt and pause in growth? VG Is this correct, is this why you suggested I start in march?

If I start in march by the time it is sexually mature it will stay in veg phase because by that time it will be approaching 13 hours of daylight? Is that correct? If it is, then the plant will veg until August which is when it will flower because the day length will start decreasing. I COULD put some artificial lights up after sunset to keep the day lengths longer and keeping in veg phase for a couple more months until October which is when it is exactly 12/12. Then it will finish just before Christmas with 8 months of vegging so it will be a huge monster plant. Is everything I typed there correct? I think I most of that info is correct?

I guess this is similar light cycles to hawaii? That would be the long season, then i guess the short season would start in August and I could plant some seeds and they will start to flower right when they are ready at around October then harvest at around January. The yields during this second short season harvest would be smaller due to a shorter veg time.

I could also plant clones that would flower right away during the short season?

Remember I'm going to grow a pure sativa strain, and if I grew pure indicas or hybrids they will follow the same schedule except just finish earlier?

Then I would spend Feb prepping for the next years grow. Is all this correct? Please correct any wrong information I have just said.

Thanks so much for your help guys.

Check with the local growers, but what you typed is what I think will happen.

I think what makes indicas more difficult is that with less sensitivity to photoperiod changes, they may not begin flowering at all.

Theory at the moment.

Yes! I will be sure to run this by the local growers :)

And I guess I should just stick to growing indicas in my PC case Micro grow :)

And If I start planting this month since I'm a couple months past march I could just run an extension cable to my garden (Its near my house) and use that method with lights to increase vegging time to october to get a better yield maybe.

If any of you are Hawaiian growers is this how the short and long seasons work for you guys there? Is it similar to what I typed in my previous post?

Hey, great to hear you might be considering moving here. I will start planting very soon, I'll make sure to keep an updated journal, so look for mine soon.

Yeah, I'm thinking of growing NL Autoflower because like VG suggested, Indicas aren't as sensitive to light as sativas and might not flower.

are u an absolute dickhead, i live in england sun comes up at 04:30 and goes down at about 21:15, how long is that ? i belive its almost 16 hours u cunt. the growing schedule of weed is from outside because thats where it started

Autoflowering plants would do well in Guam, year around.

It shows how provincial my thinking is.

Around here, Autoflowering strains aren't attractive due to our winter climate, so I didn't give it a lot of thought.
