how do you get your yeilds??? help

how can i get 1 oz per plant or even .5 g"s per watt??? ive had a few strains ive used soil & hydro right now im using ebb & flow under 1000 watt hps. i use nutri plus nutrients whole line my res ph is 5.8 temps around 75 humidity around 55% i flower 8 weeks of 12-12 my yeilds are low around 14 g"s per plant yes ive had a couple come in around 1 oz but how can i avrage 1 oz or better each or around half a g per watt i must be missing something.

make sure ur lights are gettin out, keep them as close as possible mayb try vegin a lil longer, lst, scrog, and letting the crop wait til completely ready! just a few things gl

might want to mention strains you've tried, big factor
but it does sound like 0.5g per watt should be well within your setup

i too was going to mention letting them veg for a little longer, but newb beat me to it.. my last grow i let them veg for about six weeks or so, and managed about two dry ounces a plant with a 250 hps, so you should be able to get a good yeild with the light that you are using...
and it definitely has a lot to do with what strains you are growing.. sativas are known for producing less than an indica or indica dominant strain..

ive tried bubba kush o.g. kush, cheese, euphoria, papaya. right now ive got church & papaya 4 weeks into 12-12 papayas been my best producer so far intresting plant to unique smell

super croppin hands down, if ur strain is producing descent right now then super crop the shit out of them and strim them till the 3rd week of flowering n u should see an increase in production, focus the energy of the plant on mabye 4 or 5 of ur best branches and chop the rest, u should see the results ur lookin for, n like ol boy said up top lighting is everything!!! dont over crowd ur plants its important! cuz when u do over crowd thats when they strech, get all lanky n dont produce like they should, gotta let em breath if that shit dont work then try a new strain!

super crop?? like choppind off the lower branches? or pinching stems till they crack? yeah think maybe i vegged more than i had to their 3 feet at 4 weeks 12-12 just not getting what i know i should be got a fungal gnat problem i wonder how much that has to do with it going to get mosquito thing for res to kill em
