How do people grow monsters? also a mother plant question

I was just wondering how people grow those monster weed plants i see in some pictures...and i dont mean just tall some are huge and sphere shaped... lke huge bushes...how do they get so big??? do you have to give them shitloads of nutes? how do you control watering outdoors when it rains and shit? also what else would you feed a plant like that.....also i was wondering when keeping a mother plant will you have to keep seeds around of that strain to keep it going when that mother plants expires??or could you just clone off that mother plant and make a new one....how long can you keep a garden growwing off only clones no seeds?also how do you keep a motherplant from exceeding a height limitation...

veg for 60 days or till she gets 3ft or 4ft tall then switch to 12/12.. have the hight for a 5ft to 7ft tall plant. i don't do the mommy thing i clone from clone from clone

You. Can keep a mother plant alive for ever as long as the light cycle is more then 12/12 but the clones will lose there viger and potency after a while so you should clone keep a mother then flower her after a few cycle of clones then make one of those clones your new mother plant and keep the cycle going

Yeah thats about it ^^ The only thing id like to add is lighting is also a crucial factor if growing indoors.

How does a plant loose its potency? If its the same plant grown the same way the final product should be very similar.
