When I did do dwc, years ago and finished the veg time, I flushed and cleaned everything up, then reloaded with the bloom mix, adjusted the timer and life carried on as normal ...good luck

I did the same with my DWC. i would change out my nutes and sterilize my buckets every week. i just shoved them in the dishwasher on a short wash. worked great.

Yes, a sudden change in water temps will shock your plant. You clean everything in the res. I leave my water/ nute solution over night with an air stone to keep it oxygenated and come to the room temp before I add to my res.

Keeping everything as clean as you possible can will help your avoid a laundry list of headaches and problems. Believe me it might seem a little like over kill but it's not.

Well I gotta say I've been a bit of a lazy guy lol. I dump the water, refill, and add the nutes, lol. Never ever cleaned anything between runs. Never had any issues with water. I do keep my res cool, never above 68, and floom for oxygen. Hell there is even a bit of light leakage lol. Done about 15 runs now and things seem to be good so far, touch wood!
