So I was looking to purchase an agromax original size tent from htg. What do I need to set up good ventalation? I currently have one of those 4" fan and carbon scrubber combos. How do I get proper intake and outake?

Setting up a tent is fairly simple. For passive intake, you simply open the flaps on the bottom of the tent and air gets pulled in automatically because your exuast is pulling it out. Here's a picture of my tent to give you an idea. Forced intake would require another fan blowing air in. I hope you didn't buy a Growbright carbon filter from HTG. They don't work. When it comes to carbon filters, it's one thing on a grow you can't go cheap on. If your not useing an air-cooled hood or useing fluoroescents, then you simply connect your fan right to the filter and the fan to one of the exaust ports on the tent.

Ditto the Growbright filters. Gave out 4 weeks into flower. Came home from work and could smell it as soon as I opened the door.

I did that too. Bought a 4x8 tent from them and a 6" filter and lo and behold 1 grow and I could smell ganja. The tent light-leaked all around the zipper and corners. Ended up having to hang towels and shit all around. I have learned that carbon weight and thickness mean everything in a filter. The better ones weigh much more because they have a thicker cavity. I go Can now. For maybe 30$, 40$ more I get good filters that last ...well.. I'm in year 3 now with my Can 33.
I had problems with height. My tent just wasn't tall enough. Make sure you get the tallest available.

My tent's height had to be worked around. I think HTG"s tents only go to 79". The tents I got were as light proof as most. I got a motherkeeper and a 54" X 96" X 79". The pots are a foot or so, the lights/hoods use up 2 foot. But if they were any taller, it would be difficult to assemble them under an 8 foot ceiling. The ceiling fan was a problem.
