Because i got some low grade bag seed(cops took my other plants...)... i tried 20 seeds and 2 days later and they havent poped... my seeds pop within a day usally.

I was thinking they probely just dried them in the microwave or oven thats why it was shitty weed... but is there other ways to kill the seeds so other people cant grow your stuff?

Ive never had an entire batch of seeds fail to germinate. Especially with mids. My mids plants seem to do better than my "name brand" plants.

It does sometimes take more than 2 days though.

Funny as hell, what a perspective......Do you seriously think 'dealers' give a shit about 'killing seeds', LOL. Most dealers probably dont even know how to grow!

Sometimes bag seed seeds are immature.

i still think it's crazy that 20 bag seeds and none popped..

Give it a little while longer dude.

True that, i got some master kush, early special, and 2 bag seeds and the bag seeds are flourshing over the name brand nirvana seeds :blsmoke:

Maybe the weed wasn't drying fast enough so they put in in the oven to dry it quicker. A 350 degree oven would cause the seeds to die off and not germinate.

Mmm.. Fry up a batch of seeds, I'm down.:blsmoke:
a friend of mine from Africa said that was a common dish over there... the idea never amused me enough to try it though.

i have known a LOT of dealers in my day and not a one of them ever even thought about sterilizing seeds.

I just thrw out 350 as a reference point. I was thinking, if I were some dumbass that was going to use an oven to dry weed, what temp would I use.......

For the record, I swear by the microwave germination method. I kind of just figured it out on my own, but its been working great for me. With seeds germinated the old paper towel way, I usually had about 70% germination, maybe a hair better. When I stuck the seeds in the wet paper towel, and microwaved them on full blast for 8-10 seconds, I got 100% germination, on several different batches.

Absolutely. A little bit of heat can sometimes help start the seed. (hense why a lot of people put them on a tv or computer monitor. Same concept, just faster and hotter). Most people will try to tell you that the microwave will kill a seed- those are people who have never tried it. No more than 10 seconds though, they get pretty warm after 8!
