How did you fix your leaking tote?

i have a 36 gallon rubbermaid tote in which i've installed an aeroponic setup with a pump connected to tubes and sprayers. it works well. (think e-z cloner in rubbermaid tote)

additionally, i've thrown in an ultrasonic fogger so that it's an aero/fogger combo.

so far so good... except the fucking tote leaks from the sides of the lid.

has anyone fixed something like this (leaking tote)? if so how did you do it?
