i did a rez change today, and added my R/O water i had in a 4 gal jug sitting outside..once i added Cal/Mag and my nutes and got everything situated i put the plant/lid back on,but i never checked the temps...oops! they wer around 38F!!!

Sadly my plant is very wilted!:wall:

i brought the temps up to around 60F

i was betting on it being a female:clap:,because the preflowers are sure looking like females, but kinda early to tell yet.

so will my plant die?

here are some pics.

Oh wow I hope it doesn't die.. but yeah I'd try to stay in the 60-70 range, though I've been as low as 50 with seemingly no issues.

well if it dies..then i'm yankin those 5 gall buckets out and setting up 2x3.5 gall buckets in RDWC with a main rez..i have a few plants in my closet vegging in soil under a T5 HO from HTG.

i will take cuttings from those and see what happens.

there has got to be a reason why your plant has dropped like it did and then come back to life

when you turn you lights of after 12 hours of the being on what do you keep runing IE fans extractor etc......

You gave your palnt borderline freezing water, nice work :D I miss a lot of things but i don't think i'd have mossed water that cold :D

Good to see it perked up, looked like it had plenty of life left in it from the first picture so figured it would be fine.

well the water temp was at like 38F when i did the rez change..thats why they drooped soo bad..i was keeping my water outside, but its basically winter here, and the average outside temp is low 30F.

i keep my house at 67F..so now my rez water stays inside.

currently my tent temps are 83F with 16% humidity..yea i know its kind high for the temps and low for the humidity..i can open a window up which will lower the temps, but will do nothing for the humidity.

the tent is in flowering mode now..so lower humidity isn't so bad.

No, you see i don't know it's too high, or too low :) I had a thermometer for a week and broke it, and have never bothered checking water temp or room humidity or anything. Never found a point :)

well before i got this tent i grew in my closet with a 400w MH/HPS,and it got very hot in there..like 90 to 100+ temps, and yea i had a fan,but just moved around hot air.

now i have a 4x4x7 tent in my pc room with a 12,000BTU air conditioner for the summer.

now i'm just trying to get a female to finish my first DWC grow.

ive got 2 plants in soil, and started 1 from soil and stuck in a DWC coffee can...in my closet under a T5..hoping to start cloning them, and get a female or two.

Thats what I'm saying you pretty much shocked the shit out of your plant. Those roots were bathing in near freezing water so they were probably like " wtf dude this aint right "
Glad it perked up though.. The coldest I messed with was 58 degrees.
