How close to ready? Coudy trichs but still white pistils

So my trichomes are almost all cloudy now and I'll try to get some pictures of them soon, but only a few pistils have turned orange. I'm trying to figure out the best time to start flushing and hoping that this will be ready to harvest in a couple weeks before I go on vacation. It's a auto short rider that's about 10 weeks now from seed. Growing in a 1 gal aerogarden, advanced nutrients, and extra CFLs.

Actually there are quite a few more clear trichs left now that I look a little harder. But still any way that it would be finished in about 2 weeks?

I'm afraid he's right, you still have some time to go, four weeks as he says maybe more.

Awwwww man... What are the disadvantages of pulling it that much too early? Will it still be smokable and just less potent with a lower yield? I wish I had someone to take care of it for that week :?

Do anything you can to avoid cutting early - jerry-rig an auto-watering system or something. Anyways, I agree it need 4 weeks probably. Give us an update in a few weeks. BTW, don't look on the leaves for amber trichomes - look on the calyx where the pistils are emerging from. Also, pretty much all of the pistils will have wilted and receded before it will be time to cut.

Extremely low potency, low yield, smoke won't have a well developed flavor (will taste like crap, or nothing actually) and just generally be a waste of time. I have pulled plants too early before and it's a huge disappointment. Those things will swell up so much in the next several weeks you'll think you were crazy for even thinking about it.

There's hardly any bud there yet, that will dry and shrivel up to nothing but fluff.

You can leave the pot in a tub full of water with top of pot out of water for 2 weeks. Not ideal but it will live and a few gallons of water will most likely last 2 weeks.

Start now and figure out how much water you will need. Do not chop it.
