How close to harvest

Hi there,

I am finishing up an outdoor grow and i have a few pics. I would like to know if anyone can give me an estimate of when i should start flushing these babies for harvest. The first one is Skywalker OG and the second one is DJ Short's Vanilluna. Trichomes on both plants are partially milky, maybe 30% of them, the rest are still clear. Sorry about the poor photo quality. i took them on my phone with a jewelers loop over the lens. Any help would be great. Thanks009.jpg017.jpg018.jpg025.jpg026.jpg

Probably 2 to 3 more weeks, but if weather is an issue, than you would still have great smoke. How far in are you now?

010.jpg008.jpg009.jpg011.jpgHere are some more pics to help you guys along. Right now i at 7 1/2 weeks in. it looks to me like i am going to need a few more weeks. I guess my confusion comes in because indoor these strains flowered much faster.

Yea like I said before at least 3 more weeks, wait for most or all of the fan leaves to yellow and fall off and 85% or more of the hairs to turn red/brown and recide back into the caylexs also the bud leave will curl upwards and the buds will be darker looking from amber tricromes then they will be done! Outdoors is totally diffrent from indoors you can go by the info listed on seed sites when u are growing outdoors cuz nature and the enviroment is in contral not you. Id recomend you start mixing in some molasses in your water when you water her it should help your soil out and fatten you buds up some!!!!

017.jpg018.jpg015.jpgI started adding molasses in this weeks feed as well as i used Mother of All Blooms to increase the phospho. Here are some pics of the trichomes. I will keep it updated with my progress for the last few weeks

You can see mites with the naked eye, they usually like to hide on the underside of leaves, you can see them all moving around.

What are you using to zoom in on the trichs like that? I have a microscope but it is a bitch to get if focused and is either too close or too far away to see the trichs good. The one you have seems perfect.

I am using a 60x and 100x microscope to see those trichs. it works pretty good. i picked it up at the local smoke shop it is called an "Oracle Illuminated 60x-100x Microscope." it is a small hand-held i paid less than 40 bucks for it.
