How can you use one closet with 2 light schedules?

I'm seriously stressing out.

I have just flipped 4 plants to flower, however, I have 1 plant still vegging. I have a bunch of clones in a cloner bucket. I have only 1 closet to use. The space is pretty big, but not huge, maybe 8x6.

I have 2 light schedules and I know that my flowering plants need complete darkness. I can't seem to give it to them. I have a DIY setup, cfl's and T5's. Cheapest I could figure out to do.

In the photo, the closer box setup is the veg and clones. The further with the t5 hanging over it is the flowering, but it's open ended. I initially had cardboard going all the way up to the ceiling, but it was falling down so it came down today. I don't know what to do to get them separated. I don't have the option of another closet.

I also have a smell problem. If my flower is in this open set up, how do I scrub the air if I have nowhere to vent it out?

So my questions:
1: How do I get these separated so two light schedules will work?
2: How do I scrub the air?

The easiest solution mate is to invest in a couple of tents, small one for vegging and bigger one for flowering, id put a 5 inch filter kit into the flowering tent only. As they don't smell when Veggin.

or build better 'cabs', second hand ward drobes are good but your still gonna need to make them air tight space to contain that smell. Hence tents are the easiest option.

for smell you can put a fan charcoal filter set up a standalone one not venting the air out.it would just recir the inside air of the grow area and remove the smell and it would help with even temps and it would help with air movement on the plants

panda film and spray glue, make a wall that's easily removable but effective in keeping light where it needs to be.
Yes.
But sometimes you need to keep light away fr om where it needs to be away from, like when flowering. Get a tent. Get the best one you can afford. If it's super cheap and leaks around the zippers and shit, hang a black blanket or something dark and thick over that area. You have to do better than cardboard boxes if you expect at least an "O.K." Harvest. Spend $40-$50 on a small cheap tent from Amazon and make the best of it. Be creative with your thinking with the end goal to be complete darkness for 12hrs.

You can do it. I know you can.

I had the same dilema in my closet,so I built a 5ft cabinet in there from scraps of wood(mainly an old computer desk).
And now I have a 125 cfl in the cabinet, even when the 12/12 side is sleeping.
Silicone and rubber door seals are your friend, when you need to sort out light leaks:cool:

I might try the panda film first. I has considered something like blackout curtain to split the room.

I wish I was a builder and I could make a cabinet. I only work with cardboard. Lol.

I have done it before with panda sheeting(temporary solution to what I have now),I had it in such a way, that it rolled down like a roller blind, but I still had to make a basic wooden batten frame all the way around the edge to pin the sheeting to,to stop light leaks.
