How can you cool down your grow room?

I was wondering if anyone had a cheap way for cooling down a room just a little.
Does anyone has a home make device to cool down their room, please let me know.

I have heard about putting frozen water bottles, but that didnt work at all.

what?!?!

nah man.

firstly.. you should already have fans in the grow area for starters.

Secondly.. if your running such high wattage that its adding too much heat.. maybe you should think about down-grading to a lower wattage setup.. or maybe think about adding a small A/C unit into the grow room.

Either way, I wouldn't waste your time with freezing a bunch of bottles.. its time consuming and isn't a perm. fix to the problem.

good luck.

peace.

thanks for replying and yes i do have a bunch of fans in the room and i am using some LEDs so i know for a fact that these dont cause any heat. I thought about a small ac but if thats my last choice than y not i guess.

You might look into a swamp cooler. They are good for veg but not for flowering (becuase humidity >45% for flower is not ideal)

Fans only go so far, they just blow around the same stale hot air. You need to have air circulation in and out of the growing environment. You need to have an air intake and exhaust to move the hot air out and FRESH air in. If that's still not enough, then you should invest in an AC unit.

How hot are your temps exactly? 78* is "perfect" in the eyes of most people, but I wouldn't be too worried if your temps are a bit higher, say 82-84. Its only when you get to 90-95 and higher that it could kill your plants, or stress them out.

90-95 doesnt kill your plants. I had my temps there for a few days and the plants were as green as possible. Only thing that suffers is growth rate and yield.

ya purplehazin is right if the temp is in the 90-95 it is not horrible for veg. But i am veggin now and my temp are in the 75 to 80 when the light are on and when the light are out the temp goes up to 80 - 90 but thats because i close the room down completely when the light is off.
I need to cool the room ASAP because i need to flower. One of my plant is getting too tall because its a blue dream and i dont have any more room for it to grow. So i cant flower till i lower the temperature.

My temps have been that high before as well, for a few days. And yes, mine didn't die either, but I still wouldn't chance it. It could come down to the strain that you have, some are more heat tolerant than others. And having the growth rate and yield affected is reason enough to me to not have temps up that high.
