how can I start my own "info" site?

I'm not a beginner, I have done professional web development for a company in the past, and still do it for my own projects, so this isn't a beginner question. also, I'm not looking to compete with rollitup. I like the site, I just want to start my own contributing website with information.

how do I start my own website? well.. the real problem I'm looking for an answer to is how do I do it and stay anonymous? there are a bunch of different helpful things I'd like to put together on a site. sponsored hosting maybe?

private domain registration. prepaid visas on hosting bill.
