how can i raise my ph

i took a reading of my plants ph taday and it read 5.8-5.9 ( in soil) what can i use thats cheep to raise it to 6.2-6.5?

Get dolomite lime and mix a tablespoon to a gallon before watering.

I just add lime and forget it - too much fuss is made about the pH of a plant that is VERY tolerant to wide variations.

general hydroponics sells a ph up and down kit. i bought mine for 20 bucks and it works great.
