No...carbon scrubbers, ONA, and ozone generators. Thats it as far as I know...there are probably some other things too...

Good Luck!

Oh yeah, how cheap are you talking? I just got an awesome carbon scrubber in the mail for under 60 bucks! :-)

so... share! where and how did you get that. I'm in need of something similar. And I'm all about price.

I planned on making my own, but man.. it is SO hard to get off of my ass to go scrounge up parts from here and there and to and fro and afro.

I likes it nice and easy and cheapy weesey.

Funny how people shut up when asked to cough up the proof. So many exagerated claims. Especially on fans and such

This just mixes up in the marijuana smell and makes the room smell even sweeter. It doesnt cover it up.

- I just noticed email468 said the same thing, if at all i say its worse. Maybe a completely different smell like wood could distract from the smell.
I almost spit out a mouthful of wine when I saw your avatar :D :spew:
Anyway, haha... How much does a carbon filter cost? I'm only growing 3 plants, with possible 1-3 more on a 3 week stagger (germinating seeds right now). I don't think 6 plants should be much trouble (assuming 2-4 of them will probably turn out to be male)

Does the carbon filter reduce the airflow through the fans much. LIke would an inline setup with a cheap inline fan handle pushing air through a carbon filter?

You can make your own carbon filters for less than $3 each & they work like a charm, the ones i made took care of 30 3ft high plants all in full bud at once in one of my rooms.

The link is in my signature of how i made them.

go to walmart & get 1 activated carbon filter $10 , and a flex tube ( shown in picture below) $7 ,,, hook it to a homemade cardboard box that fits over a fan ( shown in pic below) & keep ur exaust on 24/7 ,, no smell in the room at all

Great Idea for the filter, so simple make you wonder why no one ever thought of it before. Kind of like to dryer sheets taken a little further. Great going!!!

Hey Email468 have you tried any of the carbon filters you posted the thread to? Looks interesting and was wondering if that is just the filter or if it has it's own fan built-in?

i use CAN filters and eco-line fans. most filters and fans are sold separately.
does this answer your question?

Anyone ever tried one of them Orreck air purifiers?
Air purifiers, Oreck's air cleaners filter allergies, mold and dust from your home at Oreck.com.

Seems like one of these would work but I may be wrong.
I use an air purifier in my office but would not trust one to eliminate odors in the grow area except for maybe for a plant or two - and that would depend on how stinky they got. You can give it a try but be prepared to get a carbon filter real fast if odor becomes a problem.
