How big you reckon the buds will get on this plant?

Hi guys I have this wonderful sweet afghani delicious growing under a 85w blue cfl in a pc case and is now 2 weeks into 12/12, temps are spot on at 27c light on and 19c light off. I fimmed it to start with to 4 main colas and then topped 2 of the colas to end up with 6 main buds. I am going to swap over to a 125w red cfl in a weeks time and upgrade the pc fans for much more powerful and bigger ones with a layer of carbon in between wire mesh which will be in the middle of 2 pc fans, one fan blowing into the carbon and one at the other side pulling air through. Anyway I know this is a bit of a hard question but how big would you expect these buds to get in ideal conditions until harvest? This thing isn't going to stretch much now I don't think either.

I estimate about a gram. give or take a few leaves.

you might want to think about getting a taller PC case. Maybe find someone dumping a true "Full" tower. Need some more height in there. you can get waaaaay more than a single gram out of that plant even with your lower watts.

I think that's going to far lol, I think maybe around half oz.

Na im guessing a quarter if your lucky! Have u grown indoor before?

I've grown indoor a few times but with hps using proper extraction kit. I just did this case out of boredom really and it'll come in handy for the future to save time doing seedlings for when I get to do bigger grows again.

No way. 1/8 to 1/4.

We'll see eh, it won't stretch much now and i've been tying down bit by bit here and there to keep it down. It's a inbred black domina from sweet seeds which I use a lot because they always impress me. I've done mohan ram from them which is sweet afghani delicious x white widow and that didn't stretch much either and that's even more prone to stretching.

How do you plan on keeping the plant from burning on the CFL???

There's a lot of ventilation in there to keep it cool the plant tips could probably be withing 2cm of the bulb and still be fine. I don't understand why people seem to think it's gonna yield so low.

I think it's a great looking plant. Great color and foliage. Has potential......

Its not gonna yield alot cuz its being grown in a pc case with a 125 watt cfl for flower my guess is a 1/4 max of some airy ass bud...but I do like the case taller pc would be better

I did 2 lowryder 2's for my first ever grow in 3l pots with a 65w red cfl above each one inside a little cupboard and got a quarter off each one and that was with high temperatures and bad ventilation (just using a very crappy 10cm pc fan as exhaust lol). I've done a fair few grows with hps since then and just used blue cfl's for vegging so this is only second time ever flowering with cfl's and things are much better this time than the first time I flowered with cfl's. I didn't do another grow until 3 years after doing the lowryders and I learnt much much more about growing in that space of time. There's quite a lot of air going through the pc case because there's 2 140mm akasa viper fans exhausting air and they are some loud but powerful pc fans. I might look out for cheap taller cases online the old white ones will do i'm sure they'll be pretty cheap. I think the plant could do with having the light a bit further away to increase penetration to the little colas at the sides of the plant.

This is the plant now and is 2 weeks 6 days into 12/12. Looking nice up to now for a cfl grow in a pc case imo.

Hi guys thought i'd just put up a few pics of how they've turned out, they're a week away now and I used a 105w red cfl instead of 125w. I reckon 10g at least tbh.

You got some nice new years smoke man don't worry about all these wise guys.

I say at least 8-13 grams you got there, max I would assume is 15.
Regardless of the outcome you will cherish and enjoy the smoke you grow because you know it's yours.
