How am I doing so far?

I started this grow on October 22, so it's been about 30 days now. These are just bag seeds. I had 24/0 light for about a month. I don't know whether I should change it to 18/6 or 12/12 right now. Here's some pictures.


I had two other plants, but the leaves on them turned all yellow and they did not grow nearly as tall as this one so I just threw them away. I think this is a female, I don't see any ball looking structures it looks like a pointy hair. I have not added any nutes at all yet, and this is 100% natural soil. The others had soil that I purchased form the store. When should I start adding nutes, and what kind? And what should I change my light cycle too? And for how long?

I'd really appreciate if somebody would help me out throughout my grow.

looking good bro,look healthy,i always change to 12/12 when there about 10-12'' tall,they dbl or even trip in size,im doing hashplant right now and they already dbl in size and there only 17 days in.

as for nutes ive been using for many grows now just organtic brands,like biothrive gro,and then i use like a 1 part booster for buds.theres so many products out there its hard to choose.i know some of my friends use the fox farm,or advanced nutes.i would give them a half dose of nutes when there small like that and work your way up.

I have miracle grow, but I heard your not supposed to use that...
And are nutes necessary? Can you complete a grow without them?

Also, I heard of some people having their plants infested with bugs. I just noticed like three tiny bugs on the stem today. Should I be worried?

pics would help,depends on what bugs,some bugs are bad,like the prick ass spider mites.i dont use MG soil,some do,i just buy my soil in big bails and add like bat shit,worm castings,ash,etc.honestly you can use whatever you want its a weed lol.if you cant afford nutes at like a hydroshop go to walmart at least and see what they have.

Well I just flicked them off, I will take pictures if they come back. And when should I add in the nutes?

Haven't seen any bugs anymore, except for lady bugs...

No, you should be happy to see them.

Why? What do they do?

eat bugs that eat plants. Some people buy them in bulk and release in their greenhouses, or as part of a solution to a existing bug problem.

Hey I've got some updated pics from today.
The plant is about a month and 13 days old now. I see hairs indicating that it's female, but they are only on the newest set of leaves. The rest either don't show any sign of sex or have this spike looking thing. It doesn't look like a male part, but it also doesn't look like a fully developed female part like the very top one. Could this be a sign of a hermie? Well anyways, it's about its second week into 12/12 and I could already begin to smell it, not so much yet but it's starting. I have not added any nutes yet, and I don't know if I will be able to, but if I do, what kind do you guys recommend? And here are some pictures.

Get more lights, if you cant than start low stress training to get all your new growth sites around the same height so they can all get even light. Pull the top of the plant over to the side of the container and tie it down, then the middle of the plant will be the same height as the top, then drop what lights you do have closer.

You will thank me later when you have more sites for buds or at the least CLOSER internodes " the spots where new leaves come out" for when you go into flower. @! The MORE, and CLOSER together internodes you have just before flowering@!@! will give you giant donkey dick colas. If you have 2 inches between each internode " spots where buds will grow from" you will get little popcorn buds everywhere. After low stress training your CANOPY will be at an even height and you can drop your light closer to get CLOSER internodes.


"IF" you were to flower, you would get bud growth from each of the circled spots. Now, "IF"those internodes circled in red were only 1/2 an inch apart, almost touching, during flower they would connect into one big bud but if they have space you will get smaller individual clusters of calyx "buds".

You can skip everything I said by just adding more light.

Aww crap, all you can do now is add more light to get the few bud sites your gonna have to grow BIGGER buds from them, the lower branches are gonna be so airy and fluffy light. If you add even one of those spiral cfl bulbs to the bottom of each side of the plant it would help tremendously in flower. Too late to start training if your already getting the start of nugs. Just let her ride and start training early next time =D Your still gonna get good bud, your girl looks healthy, just yield isnt gonna be too big.

Well I don't see any buds yet, is there anyway I can switch back to 24/0 for like 2 weeks and then switch back to 12/12?

I have never reversed the light cycle so I cant offer any credible advice on that aspect, I would just let them ride and start a new batch like NOW =/ prob not what you wanna hear but maybe someone with more experience in re-vegging can help, regardless if the plant has started showing buds, if its been 2 weeks I'm sure internally their hormones are already changing.

i am lookin at your plant an all i see is leafs meaning if you on 12 /12 and in flower your only going to get 1 bud on very top i find this interesting heres a few pics of ending week 3 flower

looks like you should go to 18 /6 u got no flowers showing at all as well lower your lights
