So this is day 4 after sprouting

In the 2nd photo I am wondering if this little guys coming back or its a lost cause.... Theirs a sharp bend, this happened a day ago. Doesn't show any signs of dying tho.

-what kind of light
-how far away from the plants is the light

answer those two questions and we may get the answer to why it bent over.

the bend is due to stretching so much and not being able to support itself. you can try holding it up by tying it to a stick or something but if it happened a day ago it may of dried up the stem.

Way too little light plant's are streching way too much..lower light or check lumen's with meter and adjust...ben't plant all done unless you wrap a wooden match to hold up this will work velcro or tape...When these are ready for transplant bury almost up to 1 set of leave's (not true leave's called cotyledons) the round leaf's and all should be OK These seedling's will start a growth spurt soon!! No nute's until about 10" tall..and don't over water them! They don't like there feet wet!! see pic for Idea where they will be in two week's..yellow bottom leave's are a sign that it's time for a small amount of nute's!You can see progression in photo's, see how close seedling's are to T5's so they don't get leggy then when 6-8" lower them to the bottom and let them grow into there space!! Good luck my Brother!! any question's just ask!.... jackTwo week old lsd babby.jpgyellowing normal hasn't ben fed yet!.jpgvege-clone room under work bench basement.jpgT5's home depot 14 lamp 14 watt +2 200cfl's.jpg6-18-12 067.jpgLSD at 17 day's seed crop.jpgowl's shawdow update 009.jpg8 day's later jumping!.jpgowl's shawdow update 021.jpgtwo mont's later! They are stretching too much but if you sort them out soon all will be OK!

1.move light closer
or
2. get a better light

Here is my setup:

2' X 1' 6" box
4" inline duct exhaust fan
80mm CPU cooling fan
Fully lined with reflective mylar
4x 100 watt CFL

Since leaving the seedlings in this set up I have removed 2 of the 100 watt CFL. Reason for this is because while having 4 100 Watts the temp was 113F & I was burning the leaves of the seedlings.
Now that their is only 2 100 watt CFL the temp has dropped to 86F & they seems happier.
All the seedlings except for the one bent one, have thick strong stocks.

The lights are about 10" above the pots. Isn't this a good distance? Once I start vegging them I will move the lights to about 6" from pots.

Any Advise is AWESOME!
