House Renting

With things going the way they are, myself and two others are going to be renting a house sometime soon and there's just a few things that kinda worry me. The payments for utilities and the rent would be paid with money that we're getting from a current grow op. I've never really rented a house before, so I don't know what all is looked at. Should I worry about anything? It would appear to be that three people are chipping in for the monthly rent, so would there be any sort of suspicion?

i would really have to trust 2 others,,everyone would have to keep their mouthes shut. No company , no showing it off.

Of course, i was just wondering if the source of our income would be looked into that much. Since bills would be paid with dirty money, I was concerned that the landlord or someone would look into any of it.

ROFLMAO!!! As a landlord, I am delighted to get paid on or before time with the full amount and could care less if you robbed the boy scout fund to pay for it...

I would guess that most other landlords are the same.

^^exactly... Co-op not Tri-op....I know that didn't make sense.LOL

the way i see it, it kinda makes sense, you just didnt have it all the way lol
co-op= you and your plant
tri-op= you, a partner and your plants
he would be a quad-op, him, 2 partners and the plants..... quad-op sounds like way to many op's to me, LOL.

(sorry im medicated :bigjoint:)

on a serious note, partners especially ''business partners'' are usually the weak link in a (possible illegal) situation like this, you are pretty much putting your life and well being in the hands of those you ''business partner' with'..... and make no mistake, no matter how good of friends you are, once money and business are envolved, your relationships will change. One of you is gonna have to assume the dominant roll and sooner or later one of you isnt gonna agree with it.....Greed is a terrible thing........

.....also with two other people, you triple the odds of one of you doing something stupid/ignorant/ or just plain accidental to get caught, then its......."which one of you is gonna squel for a deal game''......

As long as you pay the required rent on time and dont give cause for suspicion, the landlord could care less where the money comes from.

I don't think the plants count as an active partner.

The land lord doesn't care how you get your money. They DO care if you are being an obvious drug house. The IRS will care where you get money though. It will seem mighty suspicious that you were able to combine and come up with enough for rent money and food when none of you have jobs the irs is aware of.

So is a coin op vendor that owns and cares for gum and candy machines.... It's amazing the amount of cash those machines can draw in ;)
I personally would prefer the one where you don't have to have a actual product. It's amazing the amount of stupid people that go to psychics, plenty enough to set up a front.
