House and Garden coco coir and H&G Coco A B -- Drain to waste, nice!

I've been jumping around with nutrients and I'm pretty happy with the results of House and Garden Coco AB in House and Garden coco coir, drain to waste.

Although it does not keep up with the yields of some other nutrients, the taste, smell and yield is fantastic. The buds are moderately sized bundles of resin... fucking beautiful.

No H&G additives used... too expensive... just occasional Earth Juice Micronutrients

Clones of G13 from Dr Greenthumb pack...
I think next round I will run Botanicare Cal Mag +, I'm seeing some deficiencies.

H&G does not seem like a complete nutrient, but I like the results it gives me. It just needs a little help.
Perhaps going with the full line would solve the problem, but it's just not cost efficient, imo.

I have a 1/2 vinyl tubing manifold running through the garden. 2 spaghetti tubing feeders come off the manifold to a drip basket and to each plant.
I just fill up the res when i want to water and run it all through.

747 cfm vortex fan on a speed adjustor dialed back to 50%... it pulls air from outdoors, through 1 tent (2 600 hps) then through another tent (3 600 hps). One tent runs day, one runs night. That air is exhausted into the vented attic.

Never tried Hesi... I used to use their ph down... really really strong stuff... it would make my skin peel, no joke.

Iv just bought the same nutes for use in Dtw coco , I was gona get the other stuff like nitrogen booster and bud xl , but if you get good results with just the part a and b , il give that a go , help keep the budget in check , do I still need to ad silica ? And does it matter which cal mag I use?

I tried silica once a while back... i never noticed a difference.

It's not the brand name that really matters, but the contents will vary how your plants react to cal mag...
I used General Organics Cal mag... it seemed to work alright... SUPER acidic. But, I like GH Cal Mag+

The good thing about using Cal Mag+ is that it adds a little bit of Nitrogen to the AB... You can always use more N.

Back in the day I used the whole H&G lineup... i didn't notice any difference. Root Excel might have made a little bit of a difference... but the way I run my garden.. the only thing that is on a schedule or needs to hurry is Day 1 of flower to Harvest. I couldn't see how Root Excel at that price is worth it... Really doubt it.

Man, this world of nutrients, marketing, head games, emotions, false advertising, hardly controlled "science experiments" (side by sides) is a huge fucking head game.

What I am getting at... I smoked on some G13 that my sister still had from an older crop. This was my last crop using Dyna Gro with the G13 plant. The buds tasted EXCELLENT... It got a nice good cure and was not over fed.

I think I jumped the gun by saying the H&G tasted better than Dyna Gro. I'll know for sure soon, but, that joint tasted fucking great and it was Dyna Grown... I think I was letting my brain do the tasting for me.

So, I go back on what I said.... Dyna Gro does not poorly effect taste. Tastes fucking great... Sorry to spread some poor info. At the time I thought it was accurate..

House and garden is a brand that makes very good nutrients. There is so much hype and bullshit but they do it proper. Shooting powder is the best product that I have ever been able to see work like it does. 6 hours later the buds are visibly swollen and the new growth is amazing. I recommend it to anyone and guarantee that it will outperform any Dyna-Grow product. It is 60 bucks and well worth it.....you will easily recoup that.
