Hot with high Humidity!

I use to live in the Northwest in the States and started to grow very successfully. I am a perfectionist and always had my temp and humidity exactly how I wanted.

However, I had to move.

Long story short, now I live in a sub-Tropical area and its 93f (feels like 105f) and the humidity is 57% at 6:00pm. Its higher most days. I am having a hard time growing test (legal) plants outside (inside plants are no problem).

Question is:

As an organic, outside soil grower, what can I do to fight against pest, mold, heat and humidity?

Thanks in advance.

There is only two thing's that i can say that will help you and that is a ac unite and a de humidi sytem but get the best that you can afford has cheap ones do nothing at all.

Hey tyke1973,

I have indoors covered, thanks for your suggestion though.

My question is for an outdoor grow in this heat and humidity.

Try to get cannabis strains that originate from an area that also has higher temps and humidity. For example, the Afghani strains are known to be able to withstand hot weather and other rough conditions.

Have you tried a grow tent? That could help minimize pests. Keep things clean. Try getting an outdoor growing book for mj.

The grow tent is a good idea man, maybe even somehow work a few pretty strong
fans to blow past them constantly to reduce chance of mold. Maybe even a small dehumidifier could be used in a tent as well
It MAY work without the tent but i doubt it since your ladies are just out the open air I'm assuming.

Idk, might work, just some ideas i had

Classic RIU response Q: Can I do anything about outdoor humidity. A: get a dehumidifier. People stop answering the title and answer the question.

Thanks again for your replies.

@growweedtodaY

Thats a great idea. I do not know of all the strains that are good for hot weather and high humidity. Do you have any other strain suggestions? Maybe links to the plants you are suggesting from Attitude Seeds?

@windytodai

I can and have grown indoors with no problem because I do have a Sunhut tent that I love. I could grow other crops (corn, tomatoes,ect) back in the states no problem, but am having a hard time OUTDOORS here in this heat and humidity.

I also have read numerous books and websites and watched ALL the major growers videos. The funny thing is, I have not run across any guides or tips for THIS kind of heat and humidity outdoors.

@pinxpointxpupil

Again, :) I do have a grow tent and can easily grow a small crop inside my house. My main concern is growing outdoors here in this heat and humidity.

Lol i was giving him an option? I see you did a pretty good job at that too..oh wait lol you didn't give shit for information?

Haha you tell people to stop "answering the title" which doesn't make sense because the title isn't even a question, yet you can't give any info yourself lol.

Yeah using a dehumidifier probably won't work very well outside, read this post incorrectly, still though it IS a way to pull some water out of your ladies...
