Just a quick update. We're 48 hours into the hang and things are great. Temps are at 63F and RH is at 40%.
I also began compiling some of the photos into a new website.

I'm still working out some kinks when viewed on a phone - but it's pretty solid from desktop.
I would love to hear some feedback - both good and bad.

Very nice detailed pics! Tell the wife excellent job. Glad I’ve found your thread what are you growing next? And will it be one plant again?

You seem like the kind of guy that would go balls deep into high pressure aeroponics. That would be an interesting grow
Or go a comeplete 180 and get out of hydro and start growing organic

Whatever you choose I’ll follow it...
Thanks super...I appreciate it!

I'm not really sure what will be next. Entering into Jan and Feb is just too cold but March 1 could be a reasonable start date. I already have seeds...4 different strains from Bodhi. Just not sure yet on what the setup will be. Probably be Quantum Boards but in a more conventional configuration and I do want to get back to focusing on efficiency.

We're at the end of day #3 drying. My 60 degrees and 40% RH backfired on me and I had to take action today. I've adjusted my room to 64 degrees and I'm currently fiddling with the humidity. Brought it up to 62% for a while and actually just got it up all the way to 69% but I won't keep it there for too long. The outer portions of the flowers that had become a bit too dry have responded nicely. It's as if I put them into a jar for an hour to sweat them. Right now I'm logging data points on my DIY humidifier to formulate an on/off strategy. And, I'm not exactly sure what values I want to keep her at but it seems reasonable to keep her at 62% starting day 4 or 5. As always, feedback is encouraged.

Is there any value in bringing her to 69 or 70 and then let her drop down to 55 and then bring her back up? Or would it better to just pick a number and hold it steady?
When my humidifier is off, the RH drops fairly rapidly...I dont have exact numbers yet but my guess is that it would take only 1 or 2 hours to go from 70% to 60%. And I can make it rise quicker than that.

I would recommend you pick a number and keep it, 62% is fine. I use inkbird humidity controller with a humidifier and dehumidifier in a sealed area to maintain steady humidity. Good luck and thanks for sharing the grow, nice looking plant, would have made a nice Christmas tree!

Final Harvest Numbers and Pics!

Everything was hung for between 7 and 9 days. I got off to a poor start with my drying strategy but quickly recovered. I was able to keep the drying room at exactly 64 degrees and I chose to let the RH bounce between 57% and 66% from day 3 on. Everything is jarred up but I still have some manicuring to do - I've gotten thru about 75% of it so far. Waiting on some more hygrometers and boveda backs to get delivered.

The total harvest amount came as a really big surprise. One of my closest friends was home for xmas vacation and he got to see them all hanging. He estimated 2/3rds of a pound. The following day, I studied them for about 30 minutes and came to the same number - 2/3rds of a pound was my guess too.

I didn't weigh anything until the jars were at 62% or less so the numbers are not skewed by moisture content.

TOTAL WEIGHT: 891 GRAMS!!!
31.43 Ounces
1.964 Pounds

I was shocked. Because this strain did not produce really huge donkey dick cola's like many of the others I have grown, I was expecting a poor yield. Where the cola size suffered, the flower density did not. These flowers are incredibly dense and that explains the surprising yield.

The other thing is there was no larf. Literally none. The only buds that would be considered sub-par would be the ones that were inside the plant that got no light. But even these were fantastic. They had about 75% of the resin and 50% of the density compared to the flowers on the outside but there was absolutely no throw away crap...none!

I usually resize the images I upload to around 1800px wide but I chose to upload higher quality pics for this post. Be sure to click on them!

(There is one large jar that is not pictured - but this represents about 90% of the harvest)
