hooray for craigslist!

i just scored a 12"x36" MountainAir carbon filter and a 12" elicent fan for $150!!!!! f&*k yes!

edit: this fan is quiet as balls for 1180cfm, and moves waaaay more air than i need it to. time to use some of the saved $'s on a controller, lolz.

damn, i wish i knew one could get a controller for a 12" to take it down a notch. I had a 12" vortex dri-eaz but sold it for $120 cause it was way to powerful. but at the same time, it made ALOT of noise, it was like 2200 cfm

I have seen a few good deals on craigslist also,i am always afraid it is the cops setting someone up with stuff they got from a bust.OPH

I like craigslist too.... I hate it when you agree on a price over the phone, but when they show up they dont have all the money.

you know the carbon filter is effective for only a year, are you sure you didn't just buy a spent carbon filter?

Craigslist rocks. In the past few months my 2 biggest scores were:

1 1000w HPS, Air Cooled Hood and Vortex fan for $200.

2 x 20lbs CO2 tanks and 1 regulator and timer for $150/.

You guys just made me go look at craigslist to see if i could find any deals.

its NEW. like, shiny, in the box, new. only the fan was used. the dude i got it from has an awesome rep around here for 'medical' equipment sales, so im not worried about him bein a cop or gettin ripped off.
