Medi 1: I don't know how you can say MG isn't good. All that matters is nutrients. MG is really good soil and I have had great results! You can't say not to use MG when all the sites that are reputable contradict what you say. They say to use MG and swear by it! It's up to the person and how much you wanna spend. I choose not to spend a fortune and have gotten pretty good results. What kind of nutrients should someone use with MG? I know N/P/K are the big ones! How do you mix up a good nutrient mixture?

Maybe Medi 1 could help me with that question???

he didnt say it wont work just that it isnt the best and i agree but u can grow good plants with it still
i think it gets a bad name cause new growers use it and over use it and MG gets blamed when it was the grower that messed it up

the reason i hate them is the sources and lies. there is a diff in where we chose to buy our nitrogen or any of the elments needed and how they are mixed at each level according to what plant family we are trying to grow. in mg we run tomatoes and they have nothing to do with pot. you want a closer family then its hops.
ya i did say it would work, and does fine to the eye if you can stop the ph from dropping out by cuttin the recipe way way back. then when we run the sample through the cannabinoid profile it falls on its face.
there are not many well know sites that claim its better, just people that dont test products. we dont grow by looks here we test everything we make or grow.

i mean when all it has is those 3 elements how can it grow to its full potential. they need all of them. yes they grow...but not to its best it can. second isnt in my vocabulary when it comes to my meds i rely on to get through a sick day so i can still go to work. and not have to take pharma that is killing me
the reason they only use those 3 is yes they are the ones in the largest amounts needed for a general purpose plant food for any plant. so they make 1 type and thats it. tp big corps like them dollars and profit are their bottom line, not quality. use grow shop nutes and not all are geared to grow the best tomatoes at the other end of the scale to. where is their bloom formula with diff ratios now???
where is the stress reliever for them?? where are the hormones we need to produce bigger juicier budz....they have none.

nutes are at the bottom of the list of importance to what we need for a good bud to. room and tools are so much more. without a reral room and tools to measure our environment or nutes with then nothing will work as it was meant to. seed n nutes are at bottom of my spending list

what nutes to use in mg soil...none. they dont need any. to many in the medium as it is and 99% of em are time release also bad so its good to go for the most part iof thats all you want. up here their soil is more than what i use so i use the better stuff and spend less even. here i buy a med size bag of their stuff for abpout 10 buck...good for maybe 4 to 5 pots. or i buy pro mix hp at 20 bucks and fill up 107 x 1 liter pots. kinda a no brainer there. better and cheeper.

i agree about soil with time release nutes cant control it and then to add more is why most mg soil fail if u cant npk levels u have constant problems
but we can still grow with a budget to supplies and still get good results
i use shultz liquid african violet food 8-14-9 for flower dwc
because im cheap, does it work yes, is it the best NO but do what i can do
