i was 15 then and that was 10 years ago. Got too much to lose for being caught now. My brother used Access Diver to grab CC#'s from overseas online stores and such and the cops confiscated his computer. Linux OS on it and the computer "lab" couldnt get into it even AFTER HE GAVE THEM THE P/W!!! He did all his work on my dads PC which was delivered to me the second they took my bros... But you have to pick your crimes carefully... I'd rather grow some MJ... If i want to piss somebody off, i'll piss in their driver seat...

For someone who is SO CLEARLY SO FUCKING SMART, why the HELL do you make some of the decisions you do???? DUDE! You're SMART, stop going along with stupid people doing stupid shit. And I know you know the difference, really and truly, between right and wrong. Start acting like it, you're smart enough. If you're smart enough to already know this shit, then you're smart enough for ALL the rest of it, and you could kick ASS for yourself. You could get yourself the kind of job where you'd be driving a Lexus or a nice Jeep (depending where you end up what you like), in your own home. Whatever you choose to be your path is truly yours. Man, all the stuff that would put you in a good place for the rest of you life (to me, knowing I'm always gonna have a good roof over my head means a LOT).

I will try to keep it simple since you said you don't know about computers.

You know how right now you have a web browser open and shit right...?

*If* you have a firewall, you obliviously gave permission for your web browser to access the internet right?

Then if you become infected with a trojan/virus/bot etc.. and the person that infected you is NOT a noob, you wont even get a firewall alert because it will piggyback on a legit program that you already gave permission to access the internet.

Can a hacker tell if your on dial up? Of course.

You can tell a lot of other things also;

Look through their webcam, record audio from their mic, record every keystroke, get all of their saved passwords, etc...

I think your safer IMO cause your on dial up.. most hackers don't like people on dial-up, we leave them alone.. too laggy.

listen anything said on a forum is concidered hear say! unless you are out there slanging to a cop or are indited for traficking, tey cannot use your computer as evedeice. they cannot get a search warrent on someone randomly placing a thread. just keep your mouth shut and dont leave evedeince and all is well!!!

its easy to locate someones location if you obtain there IP address....
you can also obtain others ip address ( with some simple commands) and find out where they live and then send them a link with google maps of there house, fun way to spook people although the google maps pictures are often old like FDD said.

Thats helpful info. No I didn't think anyone would want to break into my computer because I am on dial up. I don't have a webcam or a mic so that is out. I don't really have anything of interest on here.

not me bud. anytime i have need them they were not there. robbed at gun point once in my cab. it took them 45min to show up. gave them a perfect disruption, 10 min after they arrived, 55min after being robbed. they brought a guy back for me to identify. no where close to the description. had i been real shaken up some poor kid would be in jail because the lazy ass cops wanted to go home. they actually got pissed off because i said it was not him. i told the cops to fuck off got in my cab a left.

same thing with someone who touched my 9 year old daughter. they would not do a fucking thing. told me it would cost a lot of money to prove he touched her. whats there to prove she said it happened so its true. took care of that problem my self.

dont know if a static ip would work but i do know that if your local is poppin like that where google satellite can grab you straight out, go through another IP... switch providers untill you get one that is supplied by a server out of the way from you..

I go through bellsouth and my ip shows up charlotte,nc 45 minutes south of here....
