Yeah man for sure, well I'm not exactly sure what strains I have right now tbh. I have two diff. strains outdoors right now, I'll have pics once they start budding to get a better idea. I believe they are strawberry cough, and some sort of skunk strain(red roots). I just tried dragging my box into the attic today and it was a pain in the ass. I was sweating beyond belief and it will barely fit. I'm thinking of grounding a wire down into my shed in the backyard. It will be nice and out of the way if I did that, and during the winter I wouldn't have to worry about heat at all.

What's up ppl sorry I haven't been on here in awhile to add pics or nething But everything is going as planned its just taking a little longer than expected to get going. I ended up ordering a 250 watt hps air cooled with a digital ballast from HTG supply.I thought it would be here in the mail today but it hasn't showed yet so hopefully tomorrow. I bought a bag each of fox farm ocean forrest ,and pottts organic soil. For nutes i have ff grow big, big bloom ,tiger bloom, and beastie bloom. i have a 6inch 175 cfm inline fan to cool the light/ dresser and a 65cfm fan or two for intake air. Ill try my best to post some pics of the finished dresser growing n glowing this week. in the meantime heres a couple pics of my outdoor Lst bagseed first week of flowering

okay bro im a lil stoned but i think i figured out the auto ac thing.....okay bear with me take a normal old mercury thermostat it works by room temp and when it gets hot it falls moves and connects the power to turn complete the circuit and turn on the ac, so say you wired this as a switch to a air actuator door (blend door)of a car ac system its a lil door that opens to mix heat and air in the system when temps reach a certain predetermined setting.... if you could build a small door system like this it would allow ac into your room whenever temps reached your desired max, the only thing is youll have to either keep your ac on all the time so the grow room will have ac when it needs it or make the termostat in your grow room would have to control the ac also idk still thinking it thru but thats where im at lol

wow man you got that shit down. Im impressed that musta took some good rips and some deep thought lol. My light somehow still hasnt made here in the mail but as soon as it does im gonna hook it up and see if im gonna need additional cooling. I think i should be fine since i went with the air cooled but if not, it looks like u saved me with that idea. Even if i dont need it im gonna end up using your idea, im going stealthy right not b/c im living in the room with the box but in about 6 mos or so im moving out. I live in the country with my girlfriend at my moms, when me and my girlfriend move out. The room my dresser grow is in will be empty, and then im hoping to just turn the bedroom into a grow room.(hell of an upgrade) If i do that then ill just stick the main thermostat that kicks shit on and off, in the grow room. my moms a g and never has company over. (for the whole room idea)Im just waiting on my sister to go off to college and its on

I'm not sure i've asked a few ppl on here and have had a couple different responses some people say its overkill but with a lot of people ive been told as long as you can cool the room the more light the better. i know the extra 150 watts help just look at some of the threads on this site. ive seen people get 3n ahalf ounces dried off of one autoflowering plant. In amonth or so im gonna order a 400 watt air cooled for after i move out the dresser and just grow in the room, when i get it ill put it in my dresser and watch the temps. who knows i may just do both and compare that would be a cool thread 250 vs 400 same strains same box dimensions

Hell ya man you explained it nicely. I'm the same way when Im high lol, Im always workin up some crazy plan to build stuff. It makes me brainstorm for sure . Oh and don't worry I wouldn't do it if it wasn't discreet. It's a really small room so it wont be nothing crazy. My mom doesn't have any friends that come over ever, i live out in the country, and i don't have any friends come over and I haven't let ne 1 know about it, i mean ANY 1.

I did not have a cool tube HPS and my problem was my plants were too happy and grew too fast. Temps with the 4" exhaust fan ran 85 constant with lows of 80 and highs of 90. They were fine.
It was just not having enough height to grow anything past a 10" plant. I was gonna mount the lamp directly to the top but have since done other things and will one day put this cabinet to use for something else.
I guess if you are running legit cool tubes 250w with a 4" exhaust will get the job done. I know nothing about how close you can grow to the light with cool tubes but that was my problem.
Anyway, hope my thread gives you some ideas of what to do or not to do. Keep it clean. Craftsmanship counts too, not just yield.

lol yeah its brain juice for sure... and i hear you on not lettin anyone kno that the way to do it only prople that kno mine is my parents( they live next door and i rent from em so i made sure its cool) my brother and his wife , and one of my best friends , the gf dont even kno lmao shes clueless and lights out before any parties with locks on the doors lol no ones found it and theres prolly 35 40 people here every weekend too lol ,
