i heard some time ago that if the stem is hollow, the product isnt very good, that stems should be filled. anyone ever heard of that? my plant is very big and healthy but hollow as a straw. i dont think it makes a big difference, but then again i dont know.
anyone else have hollow plants? and what does it mean (or is it just natural)??

plant stems are all hollow, or porous, to some extent, providing the means by which the plant 'sucks' up water from the roots. if the stems were filled then the water wouldnt be able to be absorbed.

the smaller stems will always be rather hollow, after some time, the main stem and thicker branches will turn woody, the hollowness of a stem has no bearing whatsoever on the potency of the weed it will produce.
