Hmmmm

Any ideas on why this ittle seedling looks like it does. It is a bag seed. It has a very purple stem and the new leaves are kinda purple also. I have not fed it so I know it's not nutes. And it is under a 150 watt led bulb while it gets a little bigger.

Bury it upto the foliage with cannabis freindly soil. Water in a circle around it lightly. Dont water the stem. Should perk up and take off

Purpling could be temp related (cold), or it could be a mag deficiency, or it could be genetics (though probably not expressed on the leaves of a seedling).

So make sure the temps aren't dropping too much (keep root temps over 70 f), and the suggestion above to put it in some soil is good.

The temp stays between 72 and 76. And I am using a living super soil composted naturally with lots of healthy goodness. The seedling is only 4 days old so the only way it.could have a mag def is from before the roots got out of the peat pellet.

Ok, probably something else then. It didn't need any nutes before the roots got out of the plug.

So you started in a peat pot, and you xplanted that to super soil? How old is the seedling?

I had said 4 days but it is 5 days. I had to look at the calendar.
