why do you want to take clones???? why does every newbe want to take clones???? i have seen this question a dozen times in the past few weeks, this is outdoor growing, no point in cloning unless you want to move them indoors or something...

Guess you could take trimming inside put them in water and let them root in a window with lots of sun. Just make sure the roots dont get light use a dark cup. You can also cut a cd to fit around the stem to block out more light. I am new to growing weed but i have done this with many other plants, in most cases i never even blocked the light from the roots. They also got gels that you can use to increase the speed of this...

As soon as you feel you have some thing large enough to clone, usually around a month of vegging time for seedlings. I recommend taking them just before you are ready to out them into flowering. Take at least two clones from each one and be sure to mark which plants they came from. Tht way when the plants in flowering show sex you can get rid of the male clones also.
If I had done this when I started growing last year I would be at least six months ahead of were I am now. VV
