for real . if you are just starting to grow. go out and get the jiffy pots they sell at home depot. use those till you have to upsize to grow bags or buckets. ive had near 100%success with them..they make it so easy. i keep em in there for the first 2 weeks then when they have 4 or 5 sets of leafs i put em into either 5 gallon buckets, usually the buckets this time im using 2 gallon bags though. really they make it so easy. they even come with dirt pellets that grow to fill the jiffy pot when water is added. then you dont need to give em any nutrients till a month, 3 weeks old at the very earliest. any earlier and youll kill the plants.

no plant needs nutes in the 1st 3 weeks of its life. only water. and get a ph checker to make sure your water is allowing the plant to feed. if the ph is off, you will get nowhere. ph is the first most impoortant thing to check. because when ph is too low or too high the plant has food lock out. obviously its detrimental to the plants.....also you shouldnt be getting any heat off the floros. you should have those t5s 3 inches above the plants top. no further or they will stretch. forget rockwool cubes. i hate those things. seriously use jiffy pots. you can get em any hardware store. home depot or lowes has tons and tons of shit that takes all the work out of germinating seeds. just stick em in and leave em

Umm its a flood and drain, other way would be pretty messy I think.

It shouldn't be a heat problem unless you have no airflow cuz T5's don't get that hot. To me it looks like it could be a pH issue, which is generally the case in hydro. Make sure its between 5.8-6.4 and I hope your not using nutes yet, cuz they are too small still.

Did you pH the rockwool first, it's usually about 7-7.5 if you don't. Too high for sure.
