I used to have a fleet of Mars and other "___w equivalent" LEDs. I bought a Kill A Watt electricity usage monitor to how accurate the rates were. They were wildly different, and it seemed like the higher the rating the less actual watts they were using. I will say that the Mars was closer to the rating than any of the others, but like the other was still no where near what it was supposed to be. Then about a year later I tested new Spectrum Kings, and they were pretty much dead on.

And I mean "wildly different" as in the exact same lights that I bought at the exact same time where way off from each other.

Again I never said they were 100 watts. I said they use 100 watts to produce the light they produce. Which due to me owning them and testing them side by side with 400 watt HID’s. They are brighter than a 400 watt hid. But I guess retention is a issue here. It’s wait to speak status
Have you been drinking the water from Flint by any chance?

This is true. These old shitty lights are equivalent rated.

No moron. My point was that they use 1/4 the power a 400 watt hid does. But if retained what you read you woulda got that.
That would mean that they are 100 watt lights. They're not. We're multiple pages into this and you still seem to be having trouble understanding this.

Again, a TSL 2000 consumes 300 watts of power, meaning it uses 3/4 of the power your old HIDs did. it's a 25% reduction in power. A 100 watt smd led wouldn't even be close to an HID 400 in terms of output. The HLG 135 is the closest thing I can think of that actually would.
