Hey folks, just purchases my hlg600 kit. Got it all set up, i ordered a 50k dimmer separately but this kit has come with one too. I am by no means a DIY but have put the light together with ease. I just have one question about the dimmer. Which wires go to where. Ill send a pic of the dimmer and a pic of the wires coming out of the ballast. I tried looking at videos and forums but nothing really pointed out the dimmer itself. Any help would be greatly appreciated

You need a 100k dimmer pot, not 50K.
The 1st picture shows that Dim+ is purple and Dim- is grey, connect those to the dimmer and you are done.
Didn't the kit come with any instructions?

It did not, but it did come with the 50k dimmer. Ill order a 100k. Does it matter which ones the purple and gray get hooked to? Or no? Thank you for the quick reply.

I find that INCREDIBLY odd and weird they sent you a 50K potentiometer... What fixture do they have that even uses 2 drivers in the first place?

It's only a matter of turning clockwise or counterclockwise for 100%. With the wires connected to the dimmer pot as shown, clockwise will give full power. I'm sure if you contact HLG they will get you the correct 100K dimmer pot.

Dim + always goes to the center post. Dim - to left post for left to right attenuation, right post for right to left attenuation. Most use the left.
When connecting to a potentiometer, the polarity of the driver wires doesn't matter.
Polarity of the drivers dimmer wires will matter if connecting to a controller or the RapidLED "Cased Potentiometer" which is actuality a 0-10v controller.
