LastShareCollage.png They're both very appealing so I'm not sure how to decide or the difference in
1. Durability
2.Flower density and quality
3. 3000k on the Hlg & 3500k on the Timber
(What's the difference?)
I'll be purchasing the light tomorrow so any help is greatly appreciated.
I've narrowed my search down by reputation and customer service, I'm only interested in one of these 2 lights.

Thanks

I have products from both companies.. I believe the cobs have better penetration than the QBs..
just my opinion...

if you want to save some money.......

pay 723 us and they will ship it to you assembled.
pay 674 us and you put it together yourself.
The is the same light as the 550. save yourself 100-150$.
factoring those prices in at 720 vs 999 I would go for the HLG and use the savings to buy a good ph pen and tds meter or quality genetics. Hope this Helps. Good Luck growing.

Id lean towards 3500k for an all around color personally if you can but 3000k is just fine as well.

I think 3500k is available for the HLG as well , I was just wondering why the standard is 3000k for that one and 3500k for the cobs and what if any true differences does it make. I'll sacrifice the 100$ because these 2 companies already have an outstanding reputation and I'm comfortable with that part. I can't put anything together either.

Youre getting a bit more Watt for the cob kit so Id lean towards that between the two options for only that reason.. otherwise both are great products/companies and both have similar specs

I'll throw in a second recommendation for the HLG-600H. You don't have to put it together; pay for it to be pre-assembled and you'll still pay less than you will for either of the other two. And it's actually a more powerful light (600w) compared to the 510'ish you get from the HLG-550, and is equal to the Timber fixture at a lower price. Honestly, I don't think it makes sense to get anything else if you're running a 4x4 and you don't want to build the light yourself.

I thought they would both crush a 4x4 and the wattage didn't make much of a difference. I don't really know just guessing

That's sounds good ( EQUAL) less than the 2 I'll check the 600H. Thank you

Why don't you build two frames with 8 QB 132 's ?

I can't build anything at all. The person who can is team hps and won't do it.
Lol team hps.. is that the new pokemon team? :eyesmoke::eyesmoke::eyesmoke::eyesmoke:

Man youre overthinking it.. i work in an office from 9-5 never touched any electrical or never did any home repair except painting and was able to build a qb setup in no time easy as 1-2-3.. screws, plug in wires and thats it.. if you cant do that you shouldnt be growing

But hey you made my day with the team hps not helping you out comment :bigjoint:

It just seems like guy stuff to a chick is all. I'm not joking he's not helping me build anything and I don't wanna mess up trying.
