Hindu Kush Harvest

Well i had to go ahead and cut My Hindu Kush today, i have family coming in at the end of the week......ala must be in a paper bag by then, though i do wish i could have gone a few more days. But i do have some amber showing.

So i ended up cutting her this morning, took a few hrs for it to go on I feel i trimmed her fairly nice, and i finished with 83.5g:

80.8g Larger
2.5g popcorn

4.5g Trim

Ended with both tops being 15g each. Hopefully they will smoke nicely, i imagine i'll end with 1oz Dry.

Well after a total of 24hrs drying, i'm down to 30g total Including popcorns ~3gwet-1gdry. Roughly a little over a 1/3rd of Wet weight so far, any ideas on how much more i will loose as i'm drying over the next few days, then possibly paper bag, then Definently Jaring?

The pair up tops is now 14g.

Stems are still long for hanging.

i think the dry weight is roughly 1/4, if i've remembered that right

looks good cant wait till find out the end dry weight i hope it dont take to much weight off it shouldnt do as its gone down more than half the weight of what it was when fully wet.

Looks like you did a good job with your ladies, congrats. I'd say you can expect 1/4 of the wet weight to be the final.

Smell during grow was that typical pungent kush smell, has gone away during dry, should redevelop more during cure.

Strong cut grass smell during drying.

As far as i can add up, she vegged 7weeks, flowered for a little over 9weeks, or 65days, i wanted to go another week for more amber as i have mabey 5%amber. We'll see how she smokes after a good cure, the popcorns are good, but i have a high tolerance right now, but definently good so far after a days dry, can only get better from here.

Did a little microscope work today, looks like majority white tric, some clear, some smaller percentage amber. I do wish it could have been a little more amber, but i'm happy none the less.

Next grow will be a Romulan x Urkle cross.

Just an update, jarred her today after checking her. buds were crispy on the outside to the touch and stems broke on top two main buds.

Bad news.....weight dropped again from 30g to 19g, a bummer, but she does look good. All personal.

Shame about the weight but some fine buds u got there do u use any mollasses during the end of flowering.

When i harvest im gonna try a water cure for a couple of buds only takes a week. Instruction on how to do a water cure is in the FAQ on the site.

Yes i used molasses the WHOLE time in flower, watch PH and nute burn. I started with low amounts early in flower ie 1st week, then increased to where the water was a moderate brown.

This is after being jarred for a total of 3hrs after 2days of drying at 30% hum 83F.

I have smoked a few of the VERY small popcorns that i got from the lowest parts of the plant, probobly lowest percentage of milky/amber of the whole lot. High is somewhat strong, though short, proboly due to the clearness and being so low and underdeveloped on the plant.

All of the buds seem to have an airy feel to them i didn't expect, possibly due to the dryness, but more space between nodes than i had figured dry, as they looked VERY fat when fully wet.

Do you have any info on the romulan x urkle cross, like who makes it and where did you find it?
