Hee, hee, hee, hoping to see some of ya'll at the High Times Seattle Medical Cup this weekend, where ah'm headed shortly!

We'uns are honored to be helping judge concentrates this year and I was absolutely delighted at the quality of some of the samples.

Clearly the art and science has made leaps and bounds since I first began to actively participate in 2007 and it brings a smile to mah face and tears to mah dimming eye pans to see the significant progress.

Good job ya'll!

No, I'm an Oregon improved Okie, whose ancestry comes from Texas.

My dad told me that I improved both places by moving here, and the Pacific NW is sure purdy, so I've lived in Portland and surrounding communities since 1965. I fell in love with it on the train ride, after being discharged in San Diego and deciding to take the long way home. I promised that I would be back and was two years later.

Now that I'm retired, and don't need to live here to make a living, we are looking at other alternatives that are not so damn crowded, yet afford the amenities we need in our dotage, such as a good hospital, good restaurants, and good cultural entertainment, as well as somewhere that you can buy a left hand theaded bolt, without mail order or driving to the "big" city. I grew up in a town where none of the above was the case, and I have no wish to go back to such an impoverished existence.

We also have a short grow season this far north, so if you covet growing outdoors, I would look at property in the Medford, Grants Pass area.
