high tempretures

Hey every buddy got another quick question?I here a lot of different answers to this question . Here is the situation, i have 4 1000 watt lights that are air cooled by a 8 inch max fan in a 8 by 12 by8 room. when i first started the crop the temperatures in the day were about 77 at day and 64 at night. Now i am at day 32 and the temperatures have climbed to in the day 85 at night 67. Is this to hot for the plants? i have no co2 and i have a lot of air exchange and circulation i think its a bit early to really tell if the buds are loose they seem OK. i don't have any money until the next crop to sink into my room but i think im going to add another 8 inch fan pulling heat and what the other is pushing on the other end and a industrial evaporation cooler any thoughts on that? also can i get by my day time temps being about with 82-86?

It sounds like u have the right idea... It also sounds like the existing AC in the house, I assume, is enough to keep your temps low enough, and an additional fan that would pull out the hot air woud certainly help to lower your temps, not to mention that a good CO2 system would not only help in this arena, but it would also help to beef up your buds, and provide an overall better harvest, in terms of quality and quantity... 85 is a tad on the high siode, but if u arent seeing any signs of heat-related stress now, then I'd mabye just try to add in a good oscillating fan or two to help blow the air out of the room, and/or keep the canopy cooler for now, until u can afford to put in the fan u mentioned...

Mine seems to get close to 80 alot of times in late day, and with my good-ventilation, air flow, and CO2 system, I see no ill-effects with mine, although I like to see them around 75 or so, at the highest myself...

na 80s is not to hot for day time 90s is for sure....just as long as your night time is cooler 70s...your trying to imitate nature in the fall

if your too hot in flower.. your buds wont be solid buds ...they will be hairy airy fluffy pieces of poo

Wouldn't an evaporative cooler up the humidity to a level not desired for flowering? Just wondering...

When i add the extra fan to the room and where i live the summer is arid the spring istn that bad i would think that the two factors would balance the evaporation cooler out and put my humidity around 45-55. i have another room identical to this one only its located in a basement a year ago when the weather got really hot i added a e cooler and didnt really struggle with humidity problems. /Also i found that its only 85 in the middle of the trays where the four lights meet thats my hot spot on the edge and under light number two last night with the house being kept at around 65 i got 75 on all readngs except my hot spot what 83? i wonder how i can fix that or does it really matter. are pictures safe to post online?

85 is the high limit 50 or so is the low..if your over 80 try turning off one light at a time,so there are 3 on and one off on timers so they change every 3 hours

IMO, 85 is too high. You will get slowed growth, and yellow upper leaves on some strains. Personally I start to get concerned when temps rise above 82. I try to keep around 78 if possible.

LILBSDAD said it... There's a good idea for ya... It should reduce your max temps significantly if u change the on/off schedule to run at night and be off at day...

My lights are most certainly running at night time and off during the day! that's a given! The deal here is this room was put in an upstairs bedroom because it was the only available spot for it. so being upstairs i guess i will have to run the ac when it starts to get warm. After this crop im going to have another 8 inch max fan pulling what the other one is pushing at the end of my sealed light system. I have 4 radiant 6 hoods and there all on lumatech lk 1000s. So i guess if it really get too hot i will drop down a light or two to 750 watt. And like i said im probably going to add a evaporator cooler on a thermostat so if it gets about 79 it will kick on.

That should help... I guess I'm doing pretty good to be able to run mine at day and keep my temps where they are, without a spike in my utility bill then...

I would not worry about the utility bill unless you are up to no good! And had more than 7000 watts going with a veg room! As long as you didn't live where you lived before you started and added more than 4 lights i seriously would not worry about those issues. I would be way more concerned about friends than any electric bills or girlfriends or infared tech. Friends will fuck you over royally because of your hard work and care for good medication.
