High Pressure Aeroponics Advice

Hello,

For those who have done HPA with an accumulator. Can you help explain your setup, pictures are ideal! I'm just confused about how the accumulator (and supporting solenoids?) hooks up and if anyone has any recommendations on setup and products. I'm running without one for now but I want to incorporate it. I'm also looking at implementing drain to waste however I need to figure out the specifics, I am going to need an active pump to get the liquid out or perhaps I can find some way to manually drain it every other day (not ideal) with some easy drain port on the totes

For some reason I decided my first grow ever would be HPA, which everyone seems to be saying is the hardest method.

Some background on my setup:

2 20 gallon totes, one stacked inverted on the other (30" height).
2 multiponics straight HPA mister (shooting straight down, causing the chamber to mist.
1 Aquatec 8800 pushing 120 psi to the two misters
1 10 gallon reservoir

2'x2.5'x10' tent, active exhaust, passive intake, led lighting, clip on fan for circulation, 6 plant sites in the totes however i'm only starting with 2.

Thanks for any advice or help you can offer.

Well, it was worth a try. This is the less common route so I am going in it alone. I'll share some advice for others as I figure it out I suppose.

I tried hpa for over a year. Unless your temps and RH are well within ideal, you will have hair pulling issues

Now, I did not use an accum, but that would not change the basic issues

Not much hpa on RIU, Do a search to find some serious grow threads

The accumulator would change the issue mainly because aero fails do to high temps from the motor running but the accumulator stores compression so the pump does not need to stay running with the right size tank you only have to run the pump once a day

Hey I'm also venturing into the world of HPA and I'm planning to do a setup almost exactly like the one you want to run. I was wondering if you're still on HPA and if yes, how your system is doing so far. Any advice to share? :) Thanks!

Oh the long road y'all have ahead of you... Good luck! I hope you stick with it until you have it mastered. Makes for some very good and informative reading.

Yes very interested in knowing how your doing! I bought all if the stuff to do high pressure, then abandoned the thing lol. Went with low pressure sprayers. Plants are doing great but keep thinking about doing it.
