My water is at 8.0 and i would like some advice on how to lower it with home remedies until i get some ph up and down. i have heard calcium or baking soda works but am skeptical to try these.

The only home remedy im comfortable using is lemon juice to lower ph levels,i keep a few of the little fake lemon squeezy deals around incase i run out of ph down & it works pretty well too.

For $4 you can but a ph down buffer at prob any pet store. In the Fish department. Or get a big bottle of ph down at any hydroponics store for around $8. I got the Fish one first but it was hard to use and ended up driving all the way to the hydroponic store. Its well worth it to get a ph down that is made for plants.
