High Nutes during flower?

Hey all I’m in my 30 day of flower and I’ve been running higher nutrient levels in my Hydro unit between 2000 and 2500 ppm‘s I’ve read mixed articles on this I’ve heard that doing this will increase bud yield but I’ve also heard that it will possibly negate that doing burn to leaves and not being able to absorb energy anyone have any idea of what is best I’ll send some pictures again my buds are looking really good .. fukn trich production is amazing but the little leaves are getting burned on the tips

I just look at the plants and give what is required. No more no less.
That is the goal anyway. Lol
.. yea.. agreed.. but from reading I thought that’s what I was doing for my buds by raising nutrient levels anyway... Not too much damage to the leaves I’ll go ahead and lower them and hopefully everything will be good as good thanks again

Yeah, its up to you.
Here is my thinking on finding the sweet spot.

If you start too low and raise it until deficiencies are not showing no harm no foul.

If you start by burning then backing off you will be screwing yourself

Good luck

1.6ec going into bloom, 1.4ec after 2 weeks into bloom, 1.2ec after 4th week bloom, zero nutrients last 2 weeks of bloom is my system roughly. Too much nutrients can lock out bud set. Your running over 3ec is crazy to me.
Got it.... my girls were handling really high nutrient levels without any signs of burning or shock and had great growth but I think I overdid it I’m first time going indoors and Sometimes less is more I’d rather not have any type of nutrient lockout in effect but detrimentally from this time Ill go low and slow..thanks guys appreciate all the feedback

But just curious to know what you thought of the pictures and if it look like it was going in that nute lock out direction if it’s just a small amount of burning but I’ve already flushed them And lowered ppm level

Your plants look like theres to much nitrogen. Remember your growing bud in bloom not leafs like in veg. You'll be alright I think now that you've backed off the ppm levels.

I’m running advanced nutrients connoisseur bloom with their additives was hoping it wouldnt be to heavy in nitrogen.. OK again thanks for the info I’ll make sure to run lower PPM from this point on and continue lowering them as I get closer to the final phase so it’s a cleaner smoke

Just wanted to see if I can get some pretty incredible Bud from going to little extreme won’t do it from this point on is it probably isn’t worth the risk
Thanks

Looks like you're getting some tip burn. I'd back off by a good bit at this point. You could probably settle in around 1200-1500 and let that ride the rest of the way. My opinion at least for whatever that's worth

Was thinking the same thing I won’t raise the nut level any longer I was just thinking I would try to push them as far as I could for trich priduction but now I regret it anyway thanks again for the heads up I appreciate it

I dont think you've done anything to harm them irreversibly. My skunks I like are happy with just a touch of crispy leaf tip around the 1200 ppm mark. They stay nice and deep green like that up to about the last week or so when I get lazy and just top off with water. If you're really wanting to boost frostyness look into uv supplementing. And start with excellent genetics of course.
Some folks swear they'd never be anywhere near a 2.2 ec but some strains love it. I think you're doing right by pushing them. Gotta find theine somehow. Better than being complacent with mediocre.

Some basic info from a sometimes reputable your on that if you're curious

Thanks for that hight times article... that UV stuff is brand new for me I’ll definitely look into making that in addition to my leds... anything to help the ladies Get more voluptuous
Honestly this is the first time I’m doing an indoor Hydro unit and the nutrient level at first got away from me.. was pushing it around 2000 ppm‘s and then instead of topping the res with clean RO water I ended up putting in nutrient filled water and it spiked my plants reservoir up to 3000 ppm‘s for about 12-24 hrs... started to panic and surprise to me the little ladies handled it very well with only a tad bit of burn on the tips I immediately reduced the PPM level and put in regular clean ro water and brought it back down to 2000 I’m going to drop that actually down to 1200-1500 and keep her there for the rest

But again thank you for that UV info I’m definitely going to see about making that an addition love those frosty nugs have a great one man
