Twistyman Well-Known Member Jan 8, 2009 #3 HPS (High pressure sodium) & MH (Metal halide) are HID (high intensity discharge).... best and cheapest.. veg with CFL or T5, or ( MH, more $$) and flower with HPS.... luck.
