Hi guys would appreciate some of
Your knowledge & expertise please
I’m looking at growing Thc bomb fem auto I want to
Grow as organic as possible so purchased tropic bat mix please see the listed ingredients below can I go from seedling straight into the medium ? As autos grow fast it’s saying 65-75 days start to finish would Would I need only add more nutrients from the 3rd week , I haven’t started yet would Love to know the best possible and easiest options for auto flowering please

60% fine grade Irish peat (holds a lot of water)
• 40% high quality coco (light & airy for rapid rooting)
• Fertilised with Guanokalong Bat Guano (bat manure)
• Packed with phosphorus
• Ramps up rooting
• Enhances flower formation
• Highly refined with stable pH (peat is pH 6 + contains magnesium limestone)
• Helps prevent deficiencies & improve nutrient uptake(contains Ca & Mg)
• No perlite (easy to dispose of) or woody bits (avoid fungus gnats)
• Cuttings can be transplanted straight into the media
• For first 2 weeks feed just add water

Should be all good mate, but I used that exact coco previously, tropic bat mix, and it cooked my plant

Had all kinds of issues, lockouts, deficiencies, didn’t know if I was coming or going until I changed the medium. That plant never made it though! Use cana coco pro plus now.

you may be absolutely fine with that coco, but it makes it difficult to know exactly what is in there and when to feed, what to feed etc.

You would need further nutes once the plant has used up what’s in the medium, but you’d have to keep an eye out as for when and what, as you don’t know how much is in there already.

some good growers and info on here though, so drop a post if you’re struggling, but good luck!

You need more nitrogen in there.
I had good luck with Down to earth biolive. Has everything you need for a grow, start to finish.
Espoma Garden tone is another good all in one organic fert

Tuckatan ,

thanks for getting back to me , sounds like you had a bit of a Night mare with it , I am thinking now to do 2 of each in 2 different mediums the canna coco Plus you mentioned that way I can compare results and see what’s best nutes

looking at bio bizz , bio grow & bio bloom would you vouch for them ?

cheers damo

Hello boat guy

thanks for getting back to me so if I used bio live as my medium I wouldn’t have to use any other nutes throughout the rest of the grow ?

cheers damo

Not as your medium. Its a mix of organic amendments, so you dont have to buy each one.

And yes you could water only till harvest. You will probably want to add some Dolomite lime as well

it was my first grow, maybe I had a bad batch, maybe I fucked something else up, but I’m pretty sure it got cooked by the medium!

I’ve always heard good things regarding the bio bizz line, I’ve only used the GH flora trio nutes, so have no personal experience with bio bizz, but loads of guys here use it with great results!

Hopefully your experience with the tropic bat mix is better than mine! I mean, they still sell it, so it must work for people! I’ll definitely be following your thread if you do end updoing the side by side!

hi Tuckatan

I will take my time and see how it goes and just try to keep and eye on it the best I can I will defiantly be doing it and I will upload some pictures of the progress ,i will try get the other medium Tommo and then I will start , when the seeds sprout I will put them into the medium 1st week would 250 on the digital ballast be okay then up it to 400 on week 2 then week 3 600 I will run it 20 hours light 4 hours dark I read that you can leave it on constant but it’s also good to give them rest I will write down everything I’m doing in a note pad for reference fingers crossed this batt mix works a treat

Yea you should be good with that approach, A lot of people run their lights 24/0 but I’m not sure there is any significant benefit, so may as well save yourself a few quid running them 20/4. I run 18/6! Saying that though I see more of the auto growers running 24/0, I guess to maximise the growth in the limited veg time. Either way will work though.

not sure on your germination methods, but a seed placed into a piece of kitchen roll that is damped in PH’d rain water, and placed in a dark, warm cupboard has never failed for me! couple days and there’s a nice long tap root! Just keep tabs to make sure the kitchen roll doesn’t dry out.

Keep us updated!
