Totally agree. Just dicking around. I'd have to be with someone I trust very well to consume mushrooms in the wild. Too many look alike

I used to walk with my grandmother and she would pick these random outdoor mushrooms... She would eat them. I swear she was trippin.
There could be a chance that she picked from the same spots each year and knew they were safe

Yeah, finding someone who's willing to show you a spot where they grow would be best. Problem is, a lot of folks keep those spots ro themselves.
Fiddleheads are probably starting to pop up around here now.
