So Canadians, what does this mean for Canada?
Outside of the weed distraction, there is going to be 3 years of deficit spending. I don't know in what directions the money will flow, but I imagine infrastructure is about to get a fat upgrade. Perhaps the healthcare system will see a large chunk of that, too.

That's for starters. There will also be a push to abolish the senate, IIRC. I also imagine we'll see scandals, because Liberals are fairly good at getting into those, up here.

hopefully we can finally make progress bridging the gap with the aboriginals of canada and have their voices actually be heard instead of
"it was your own fault you were murdered"

I'm sure the Angry Beard will remind him about it. He made special note of the First Nations in his concession speech (in the part I saw before my computer hung from the dumb "live update" crap stealing my bandwidth)

PS 69.85% TURNOUT IN MY RIDING!
And that's not including the "new voters". ;) Take that, Mr. and Mrs. America. And your dog, Checkers, too!

You haven't heard his name before? It's been around since Jack took his game to higher fields. ;) Now that he's back to playing 3rd-tier politics, he'll probably go back to being his pissy self.

And yes, you are correct, it will depend on who is in the cabinet. I hope he does away with all that PMO secrecy shit leftover from Nixon Nuck. Oh, and I just remembered something; didn't Justin say something about lowering the retirement age back to 65?

 understandable. It's relatively irrelevant to me, as well, but nevertheless something of importance to society on the whole. Pushing it to 69 was a calculable strain on the future economics of Canada--based on continuing displacement of labour--as opposed to the "benefit" it was advertised as.

No one should be working unless they want to at that age
And no one should have to either

that we can start being canadian again

harper was ruling us towards a very fear mongering warmongering , anti immigrant, anti muslim nation based on fear and race problems and ignorance imho
So he was turning Canada into the United States?

But didn't you move from Canada to the US?

That's subtly ironic considering our excuse has generally been, "we can't do anything unless the Americans do it first" as far as weed goes.
Don't hold your toke waiting for us, though. I'm concerned Canada just set that movement back a couple years, at least.
But we'll have to see. I'm somewhat pessimistic of politics by nature, so...
Setback!!! How could any results that changed what we had be a setback? How could a leader who has stated he wants to legalize it be a setback?

There's no need to panic, yet. I'm just compiling the random blurbs of information I've been gathering, and it appears the "legalization" bit may be held back, or at least is not part of the "Sunny Ways" package, in the short term.

That does not mean it won't manifest. As I stated, I have a natural pessimism towards politicians and their innate, uncanny ability to spout incessant bullshit. I've seen it enough times in my life; "It's all in the book," "We will get rid of GST", "I put pepper on my steak", etc.

Perhaps if a couple of the band chiefs pooled their pay cheques they could throw a giant get to know your indian party. Not one of the ones saying "its your own fault for getting murdered" and really I would like to think there aren't many. But I do think as a group they could do more to serve their cause. Perhaps the time has come to join the masses and do what you need to do to better yourself, like get the fuck out of the reserve and get a life!!! I didnt stay in butt fuck no where and expect the government to provide me with the necessities of life. I moved to the big smoke, lived in my car for a week and got a fucking job, 45 years later, I now live on a lake and looking forward to the new 65 retirement age. Well ok so I grew a bit of pot and that helped with the lake thing lol. Im kinda high so ranting a bit, guess this should be another thread lol. K I'm sure I've ruffled a few feathers (including my own lol), so on that note, GO JUSTIN!!!

God I hope not lol, should have voted NDP perhaps lol. If nothing else it was a major platform so at least its on the board. That in it self has to be progress as opposed to setback. I'm sure the factory grows are licking their lips as well lol.

Please refer to harpers comments on the missing and murdered women of Canada
As well as some of him MPs
There have indeed been comments basically saying it was their own fault for being murdered

I think you're a bit confused on how tribes and general areas run
All and all sadly you're a bit ignorant on natives and what they want but that's ok because basically you've had opinions shoved down your throat like everyone else who regurgitate that Shit and have no idea what their talking about lol
